"I have been meaning to ask Miss Gu since the first time that we have met."

Gu Nian hesitated for 0.1 second but finally decided on following her principle of responding truthfully to all of her precious son's questions. Giving him a big, bright smile, she said, "22!"
"Is Miss Gu aware of my age?"
Gu Nian, "24!"
She had responded so matter-of-factly that Luo Xiu almost busted out laughing. But he was used to hiding his real emotions so he only asked "gently", "Then, don't you feel that it will be inappropriate for me to refer to you as big sister?"
"What's so inappropriate about that?"
The girl stood up and, standing all 1.6 meter righteously in front of this 1.8-meter man, she patted herself on her chest and said, "As long as I have the heart of an older sister, you will forever be my little brother."

As the human-form youtanhua has been newly added to the script, the support team must go into town to purchase props that would be needed for this new role.
Gu Nian, as the person responsible for this portion of the script, went with the support team just in case.
As the price to pay, Gu Nian was indescribably painful for having to miss the first filming of her precious son. She had stressed to Jiang Xiaoqing and Qin Yuanyuan a million times to be sure to record it for her – and if the production really wouldn't let them do so, then at least take a couple of pictures.
After her millionth time reminder, the humble old mother finally left while turning around once every three steps.
Gu Nian returned to the filming base in the late afternoon.
She couldn't make any calls while in the car with the others but, as soon as she had gotten out of the car, she immediately called up Jiang Xiaoqing, "How are things going on your end?"
Jiang Xiaoqing said feebly, "Still rolling."
Gu Nian was surprised. "Still? Did you guys film other scenes besides the transformation in the previous life?"
Jiang Xiaoqing, "That's the scary part. We didn't."
"?"
Jiang Xiaoqing tried to hold it in for a few seconds but finally failed. "Your precious son was a disaster in the filming industry. I will admit that with the ancient-style makeup, he looked like a real fairy stepping foot on earth and could not be more attractive. And that was probably the only reason he was still alive after all of the NGs. If it was anyone else, I am sure the production team would have murdered him already!"

Gu Nian was speechless for a long while. As though she could not accept the nightmarish cruel truth that her precious son was a terrible actor, it took her a while to be able to talk again. "How is he doing now?"
"Director Geng finally called for a break and had him go and reflect upon himself with the script and the character sheet."
Gu Nian felt her heart ached. "Was Director Geng mean to him?"
"That's the funny part. No, he wasn't. Strange right? That was so out of character for that bad tempered Director Geng."
Gu Nian felt much better hearing that her precious son was not yelled at. "I will be over right away. Keep an eye out for me and don't let anyone bully him."
Jiang Xiaoqing didn't know what to make of that. "He's already 24…"
Gu Nian fastened her pace and said solemnly, "Even at 24, he is still my precious son. Nobody is allowed to bully him."
Jiang Xiaoqing, "Okay, okay."
Gu Nian arrived at the temporary set as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, she arrived at a bad time and Director Geng was in a foul mood.
Geng Hongyu, with his director's hat on, said coldly to Gu Nian as soon as he caught a glimpse of her, "Gu Nian! You come over here right now!"
Gu Nian had no choice but to course change from walking toward the corner and walked over to Director Geng dispirited. "Director Geng."
"This was your great script and your great character! A scene with no lines. Do you have any idea how many times the actor had NG'd and how much time and capital of ours had been wasted?"
"……"
It was quiet inside the set.
With Geng Hongyu's loud voice, even though most of the workers didn't make it too obvious, but all of their attention was directed toward them secretly.
Everybody knew that Director Geng was just taking it out on Gu Nian and Gu Nian was aware of that as well.
