The man followed a few steps after her.
Gu Nian turned her body and picked up the phone.
In came Lin Nantian's shouting sound. "You called me and woke me up. Then you hung up on me before I could even get a word in?! Are you playing a game of truth or dare or something? You are a dead person if you say yes!"
Gu Nian, prepared for this, had her hand over the receiver on the phone.
After the shouting was over, she put on a tender and shy smile and said into the phone, "Hi, dear!"

Gu Nian carried on sweetly, "I am a little tired tonight but not too bad. You don't need to worry so much about me."
