Soul God Dominates the Mortal World Chapter 27

Zeus remained silent for a moment, his presence alone pressing like the weight of a dying star.

He exhaled. "So, that was what you came to ask."

His voice was low now, heavy with contempt.

"Go. Gather your strength. Prepare your legions. You are not yet worthy to challenge him. But stay alert... for I may call upon you when you least expect it."

The angel bowed again, this time until his forehead touched the sacred floor.

He left swiftly—fortunate to depart with his head still attached after invoking Zeus' wrath.

Deus, having just annihilated the God sent to kill him, descended from the air. His body, now void of energy, landed to the ground with a soft thud. His weak baby legs managing to hold on with the immense energy infused to it

His chest heaved. 'If the one sent had been stronger... I might not have been able to deal with him as easily as I did.'

He clenched his fist, flexing his numbed fingers.

'But my power... it is still not at its peak.'

A subtle warmth. A surge of celestial vitality flowing into him.

Godly Essence... at last.

A grin cracked his face. Cold, triumphant.

'Now... now I finally have what I need... to grow this lifeless body.'

He closed his eyes, letting the divine energy seep through his soul—the very soul that no force had ever managed to destroy.

'But this is just one of the many ingredients I need to grow a perfect vessel...'

At that moment, something materialised beside the spot where Deus was floating—elegant, poised, and radiating a divine allure.

She was breathtaking.

A woman with flawless curves sculpted by the hands of nature itself. Her black hair flowed down her back like an endless river of night, gleaming with a sheen that defied the dust of mortality.

Her skin was smooth like porcelain kissed by morning light, her eyes a deep emerald that shimmered with maternal warmth and timeless wisdom. Her breasts, full and perfectly shaped, strained slightly against the smooth folds of her silk-like robe—an outfit that clung to her hourglass figure with reverence, stitched from threads that shimmered like woven starlight.

Her presence alone felt sacred, comforting, yet seductively divine. She looked every inch the goddess of the Earth she was—majestic, fertile, and impossibly beautiful. She was the soul of Earth that manifested with Deus' help.

(Pics for reference; Mira...)

"Master..." she whispered, her voice like a breeze brushing through blooming fields. She bowed low before him, one hand placed delicately across her chest in reverence.

Deus glanced toward her, his tone calm, steady—like a whisper that could bend fate itself.

"Perfect timing, Mira... I was beginning to wonder if the soil itself sought to cling to you, unwilling to let its mother leave."

His words were neither harsh nor warm, but carried a solemn weight—each syllable resonating with the authority of one who ruled over the souls of all creation. His eyes, still aglow with spectral fire, regarded her not with lust nor affection, but with the measured clarity of a being far beyond mortal emotion.

Yet even so, in his presence, Mira could feel the subtle gravity of his power pulling at her essence.

Deus raised his hand, and from his fingertips, threads of spectral light emerged, forming glowing runes in the air. They pulsed once, then flowed into Mira's consciousness like divine whispers etched into her soul.

"Get all these for me," Deus commanded, his voice echoing with finality. "And make sure they are of the highest purity."

Tears of a Star Maiden

Heavenly Soulflame Ember

Crownleaf of the First Tree

Soulstone Essence Core... it went on and on'

Mira's eyes widened as the list burned itself into her mind, carried by a whisper of soul energy only she could hear. Each name etched itself like a brand onto her very being—ancient, mythical treasures that few would even dare dream of.

Despite the immense weight behind the request, her lips curled slightly. While it might seem impossible to others, Mira had been collecting rare materials for decades in preparation for her master's return. Some of the treasures had long been entrusted to the care of powerful beings on Earth—willing or not. Others, she had hidden herself, buried beneath ruins where time itself seemed afraid to tread.

She could retrieve them. She would. Improvising, if need be, was well within her means.

Many of the treasures listed were remnants of Deus' ancient legacy—relics scattered across Earth, buried within the ruins of his old divine sanctuaries, his God ruin. With the authority he had bestowed upon her, Mira would have no trouble reclaiming what was once his. And now, with his return, every one of those godly items would finally serve their rightful purpose.

"It is my greatest honour to serve you my Lord, the one true God and guardian of this world," Mira said softly, her voice steady with respect and quiet devotion.

Then, without another word, her body shimmered with divine particles, breaking apart into cascading pixels that floated upward before vanishing into the air like stardust.

Yet even as she departed, her chest swelled with emotions she dared not voice aloud. Her heartbeat quickened.

'He's truly returned...' she thought, barely able to contain the thrill beneath her calm exterior. The soul of Earth itself walks once more.

'To be this close to him... to bask in the presence of the one who once shattered gods and stitched together worlds...' She bit her lip softly, her face warm with unspoken excitement.

'This is my chance... If I serve him flawlessly, perhaps... perhaps he'll speak to me not just as a servant... but as someone worthy of his gaze.'

Her thoughts drifted as she vanished, soul ablaze with purpose.

'To walk in his shadow is glory enough... but to earn even a fragment of his praise? That would be enough to light my existence for all eternity.'
