Dear Zhao-er (亲爱的昭儿)
Ever since Qiao Hong Ye quit school, Jing Yun Zhao’s infamous reputation pretty much disappeared; practically no one dared to bring it up. Her grades were excellent and her behaviour was also good. Usually, there would always be some male students appearing at their classroom’s door, but only a handful actually dared to so brazenly deliver their love letters.
Jing Yun Zhao subconsciously placed the letter and her breakfast on her table. She couldn’t react in time when Xiao Hai Qing, who was sitting beside her, saw the letter and quickly snatched it up.
“Wow…Yun Zhao, what a charmer! You’re already receiving love letters on the first day of school! The guy probably has had a crush on you for quite a while already!” Xiao Hai Qing shouted.
She was doing it on purpose; her main goal was to see Jing Yun Zhao’s shy expression.
Unfortunately for her, Jing Yun Zhao only raised her brow. She was very calm as if it was unrelated to her!
“Is there something wrong with you? You’re not happy to receive a love letter? I’m going to start suspecting your gender soon,” Xiao Hai Qing questioned in wonder.
She had also received love letters before, but they were usually written by bad boys since the bashful ones wouldn’t dare get close to her. It was as if she was a contagious virus, or maybe they were just scared that she would beat them up if she was ever unhappy. That’s why only the ones who could take a punch dared to openly confess their feelings for her.
However, while she might look free and easy and at times, bold and vigorous, she would still feel a little excited whenever she received love letters.
Rejecting was one thing, enjoying this kind of attention was another.
She was undoubtedly a tyrannical girl, but no matter how much of a tyrant she was, she was still a girl.
Xiao Hai Qing’s eyebrows were dancing as if she found out explosive news while Jing Yun Zhao was speechless and choked at her suggestion, “There’s nothing wrong with my gender! Not everyone would be happy because of something like this.”
She had lived to be slightly over 20 years-old in her previous life and was a proper adult. Even if her current body was young and tender, her heart had matured. How could she be so easily excited just because of a love letter from a boy?
“You’re really no fun! Let me help you see what the love letter says!” Xiao Hai Qing snickered and swung the letter around, her face full of curiosity.
She didn’t want to see ugly and repulsive boys lusting over their family’s Yun Zhao! A love letter represented one’s character and taste, so she needed to inspect it properly!
When Xiao Hai Qing finished speaking and didn’t sense any objection from Jing Yun Zhao, she opened the letter.
It was a white-coloured envelope with a red-coloured heart drawn on the seal. To the two girls, it actually looked a little childish.
They looked at the letter itself and saw that it was pink.
Xiao Hai Qing was already curling her lips; the worst colour to match Jing YunZhao was pink, the other party definitely didn’t think things through.
The moment Xiao Hai Qing opened the letter, her lips twitched. Meanwhile, Su Chu and Gan Jin Chen behind them couldn’t resist inching forwards. Instantly, both their faces turned strange as if they were made to eat dead flies.
Jing Yun Zhao became curious too when she saw their expressions.
Some time passed only to see Xiao Hai Qing’s pitying look directed at her before she began to read it aloud…
“Dear Zhao-er, forgive my rudeness for I can no longer hold back my longing for you during these days without you…I miss those eyes that are gentle as water, long for your plump and alluring little lips, and yearn for the smooth and tenderness of your pure white skin. Your gentle looks float around in my mind every day to the point where I’m unable to restrain myself…”
“I know that you also feel the same way. I often feel your gaze pausing on me and my heart would speed up every time…”

When they reached this sentence, Jing Yun Zhao’s expression turned scarily dark.
