"I’ll apply the medicine for you."
Upon hearing Murong Fei’s words, Qin Tian seemed completely stunned, shocked to the point where he didn’t even blink.
He had assumed that after saying this, Murong Fei would, as usual, glare at him and then call him something like sleazy and lecherous.
"What’s with you, ah? Your health is the most important thing; everything else is secondary. Hurry up, I still have my own things to do after I finish applying your medicine. Why are you staring at me?"
"Qin Tian, when did you become so coy?"

Facing Murong Fei’s decisiveness, Qin Tian was left speechless.

Qin Tian was once again at a loss for words.
"Stop talking. Turn your head away," Murong Fei said solemnly.
Murong Fei seemed poised and undisturbed by Qin Tian’s body, but inside, her emotions were already surging.
"Being with him, we could face kidnappings and murder like before... perhaps for a lifetime... Forget it, I should just be his good friend. I... maybe I was just meant to be alone..."
While fiddling with the ointment, Murong Fei was lost in thought, reminiscing about the moment she had initiated the annulment of their engagement, which still caused her heartache.
But if you ask her about regret, she doesn’t have any. In her opinion, calling off the engagement was the most rational and safest option for both her and Qin Tian.

Murong Fei snapped out of it and lightly scolded Qin Tian, feeling quite good about the unusual state and relationship between them. It was a vague, indistinct feeling that allowed Murong Fei to interact with Qin Tian freely and comfortably without any pressure.

Upon catching sight of Qin Tian’s leg, Murong Fei teased him with a curled lip.
"I let it grow on purpose, planning to cut and sell it later," Qin Tian said with a straight face.
"Keep making excuses... I’ve realized you’re like a pig, your body is so fleshy..."
"Hey, you’re bullying an injured person..."
"You... Fine, since you’re injured, I won’t argue with you."
Murong Fei pressed her lips together, her eyes on the back of Qin Tian’s head, yet a faint smile played on her lips.
Applying the medicine while thinking, Murong Fei finished a few minutes later, but Qin Tian couldn’t sit up because of the medicine; he had to lie on his side.
From lying flat on the sofa to lying on his side, Qin Tian just made the move when he immediately heard Murong Fei’s disdainful voice.
"Pig, you perv! Disgusting!"
Having said that, Murong Fei’s face turned red as she quickly tidied up the medicine box and then hurried upstairs.
"What did I do to you..."
Qin Tian looked at Murong Fei’s retreating figure somewhat bemusedly. He started to speak but then, looking down, he blurted out in shock, "Oh my god..."
"Hey, this is a normal reaction..."
Qin Tian awkwardly tried to explain to Murong Fei, who was already upstairs.
That was how Murong Fei responded to Qin Tian.
The next morning, Qin Tian, still groggy from sleep, heard Murong Fei’s voice outside.
There was a knocking at the door.
There was a teasing tone in Murong Fei’s voice.
"Don’t randomly give me nicknames!"
Hearing her words, Qin Tian got up and opened the door in his pajamas.
As he opened the door, he saw Murong Fei standing there in a loose white outfit, looking utterly beautiful.
Just out of bed, Qin Tian swallowed and then stared at Murong Fei’s lovely face, "If you’re going to give me a nickname, how about ’Qin Shuai’, ’Young Master Qin’, or ’Eldest Young Master’? Calling me ’pig’..."
"I insist on calling you a pig, a perv pig, a lazy pig, Qin Pig!"
