Gu Shishi checked her seat number on the ticket dubiously.
Then she looked again at the entire theater. These were the only two spots that were taken.
She finally noticed that something was wrong.
She suddenly recalled that the boss had book a private session.
And the two girls who were sitting in what was supposed to be “one of the boss’s spot” finally spoke up.
“Are you Miss Gu?”
“It is nice to meet you.”
Gu Shishi was surprised.
“We are the ones asked by your fiancé to keep you company over the weekends,” said the girls with a smile.
Both of them looked like they had been fed “dog food”.
“I am Qin Jingshan, Qin Ruhai’s older sister.”
“I am Qin Jingyi, Qin Ruhai’s younger sister.”
Gu Shishi, “? ?”
Inside the office at the same time.
Huo Sishen had his cellphone placed front side down on his desk.
[Have You Received Red Packets Today: Where are you, Mr. Huo? The movie is about to start.]
[Have You Received Red Packets Today: I am going to go inside first. Would you like some popcorns? Let me get a couple bottles of water as well. What kind do you want? Evian?]
He looked at it coldly and his fingers grabbing onto the document tightly.
Cold pressure radiated from him.
Finally, after five minutes, the movie was about to start.
He reached out to rub his temples that was hurting and closed his eyes.
She should have figured out by now that he wasn’t going to show up.
He didn’t like her. He would not be going to a movie with her nor to spend time with her alone.
Not now.
Not ever.
Would she… would she cry?
If she cries in front of the theater, she’d be seen by others.
She would know to walk inside of the theater, right?
He had already reserved the entire theater. She could cry inside and not be seen by anyone.
Huo Sishen pursed his lips.
The veins on his hands were about to pop out.
And the cellphone on his table vibrated twice.
His lips were shut tightly and he looked over with his black eyes where capillaries were visible.
Just one look, and his cold eyes flickered.

Not only did she not cry, she seemed very happy.
She felt that his not being there was love?

Gu Shishi was slightly disappointed that Huo Sishen wasn’t there.
She had already watched this movie in her previous life. The only reason she wanted to see it again was to strengthen her relationship with the boss.
As for making friends… who’d go make new friends at a theater?!
Not to mention that neither one of her “new friends” had said anything throughout the entire movie.
That only made sense.
What kind of ladies would talk through a movie and distract others from enjoy the movie?
It was the moment of quietness with no changes during the movie time.
As such, making friends at a theater was truly meaningless!
Luckily, the screen was huge and audiences were able to recline comfortably in their seats with their feet propped up.
The audio was amazing and the picture clear during the entire movie. Then the lobby returned to silence.
Gu Shishi, sipping on her Evian and eating her popcorns, felt that these two hours were… very relaxing.
After her slight disappointment had passed, she felt a slight sense of happiness. Her mind of body after an entire week of work were able to have a chance to relax.
After the movie, the Qin’s sister asked her out for afternoon tea.
One of them was a woman who had been married and the other with experiences in dating.
Both of them had seen countless rich men and had been through failed relationships. One could say that they were women who were able to see through men.
They both looked envious sitting in front of Gu Shishi.
“I never would have thought that Big Brother Huo was such a thoughtful man. My brother told me,” said younger Miss Qin with a shred of curiosity on her face. “That Big Brother Huo asked us to come to movie with you and also to hang out with you in the future.”
