Not too long after Qin Ruhai had left, the frowning Huo Sishen picked up the phone from his desk
“Have someone bring over their newest female clothes from these few brands tomorrow.”

Huo Sishen hung up the phone without explaining himself any further.

He was extremely sincere as he said that.
If psycho Huo could find his true love, walk out of the shadow of his own mental issues and slowly become a normal person with treatment, it’d certainly be great news for his personal doctor who had been tortured by him day in and day out.

Gu Shishi knew what he meant by that so she nodded in agreement.

And that’s the scene that Huo Sishen witnessed when he walked out of his study.
He happened to hear the last thing that Qin Ruhai had said.
Then he saw the goofy Foolish, White, and Sweet smile on Gu Shishi.
Stopping mid-step, he froze like an iceberg.
Gu Shishi’s sight, on the other hand, was blocked by arh.
“Oh, right, Dr. Qin, I have a gift for you.
“Glad you are here today. Let me go and get it!”
With a loud “BAM!!” the door to the study was slammed shut!
Gu Shishi poked out her head, “Mr. Huo.”
Huo Sishen’s back stiffened.
“Dinner is ready. I’ll be down to dine with you in a little bit.
“Come with me, Dr. Qin.”
Huo Sishen clenched his fist once again.
Qin Ruhai’s irritating voice came over once again.
“Eh? Miss Gu has a gift for me too?
“That is such an honor.”
Huo Sishen turned his head and walked downstairs coldly.
Sitting down at the dining table, he picked up the fork but didn’t move for a long while. Shortly thereafter, he slammed it back down onto the table and made another loud noise.
Pretentious!
He pretended that he didn’t already know and acted so innocently in an effort to deceive her!
