As he had already showered and wouldn’t be seeing anyone tonight, all he had on was a robe.
There was a sash around his waist.
Inside the robe, there was… nothing.
Huo Sishen’s fingers were somewhat stiff and he wanted to push Gu Shishi away some.
Lo and behold, Gu Shishi had on a loose gown. He barely used any force at all and one side of her neckline was pulled down some and part of her round and smooth shoulder could be seen.
Her stunning look the day she tried the wedding gowns on, the curious distance between the two of them when they posed for the photos, how they had breathed onto each other… all of them flashbacked in his mind along with the touch of softness on his fingers.
Huo Sishen’s breathing paused for a second.
He turned and looked away, trying very hard to ignore her beautiful skin.
He was just about put to her gown straight for her when… a soft, rose-scented kiss was planted on his collarbone.
Most likely she didn’t even do that on purpose.
But his hand shook a little. His fingers that touched her gown felt like they were burning.
The two were very closed to each other from the hug.
She was not a very tall girl. Her forehead was just over his shoulder.
When she face was close, her lips was just about the height of his collarbone.
“Mmm…”
Gu Shishi frowned a little.

Dang. This doggone system was so picky!
Gu Shishi struggled a little and, before the man had recollected himself, she shoved, shoved, shoved, shoved… shoved to a new spot.
She was worried about the system. She didn’t want another “move downward 1.5 centimeter”, “0.5 centimeter to the left”, etc. etc… so she just left her lips on him and quickly made a full circle until she heard the pleasant chime of 100% completion from the system.
She was finally able to let out a sigh of relief.
She was just about to take a couple of steps back when she suddenly realized that something was off.
Huo Sishen’s dark eyes was extremely deep. His palm, that was on her shoulder just a minute ago, had already moved onto the back of her waist and wrapped around her!
His right hand, on the other hand, was placed behind her head that was just about to move away. His hand that was incredible hot right now quickly moved over to her smooth chin and grabbed her tightly.
Pulling her toward the wall, he pressed her right up against it. He then lowered his head and planted his lips onto her delicate little mouth!
The rose scent coming from her was not an artificial perfume that was sprayed onto her wrists or behind her ears. The scent from those might not be equally distributed. Her hint of scent, on the other hand, was created by a halo from the system, it was almost carved onto her soul.
The closer he was to her, the stronger the scent.
Especially when Huo Sishen was holding onto her chin. He felt that her chin was smooth like a piece of fine jade.
Her red lips, as though unfamiliar with his closeness, parted a little. Perhaps struggling to breath, a warm air puffed out and he could detect a hint of scent, as though he had just stepped into a manor with blooming flowers.
Taking a deep breath, he further felt that the delicate body in his arms could not be any softer. And he had no resistance toward that softness.
This was not just light peck of a kiss. It was as aggressive as the thunderstorm outside.
Gu Shishi was stunned.
After she had recollected herself, she once again felt that she was surrounded by that mint bath lotion smell coming from him.
And she was like a little boat that was floating on a river…

Gu Shishi barely heard that and, before she was even felt pleased from that, she was about to suffocate from the kiss.
She needed to breath.
Luckily, Huo Sishen finally let go of her.
