Same “beauty holding onto a pipa with half of her face covered [by her hair]” type of beauty as described in the poem. Simply indomitable. So seductive that would make one stir for half a night and still couldn’t get it out of their minds.

Gu Shishi tossed again helplessly.
Then she decided to just sit up.
She had taken sketching classes in the past. She had been to quite a few art institutions with her master in the past and there were even a few of Westerner models.
To an artist, a model is nothing but a tool. They are “objects” whose purpose is none other than carrying the beauty.
Any one who had taken classes like that would know that, regardless of whether they were looking at males or females, there were no emotions involved. Calm was the word.
The only thought that one had was how to interpret the curves of the model’s muscles, how to handle the bones, and how to insert the light and shadow effects.
Who would have lingering thoughts about the models?
Nobody would!
They were all professionals! There was homework to be done! They needed to climb the tree in the realm of art!
Nevertheless, Gu Shishi… after tossing and turning in bed for over 100 times, realized that she was far from being calm.
She gritted her teeth and finally decided to give up on sleeping. She got back up to practice drawing lines and drawing portraits!
Tis was 1 AM.
Gu Shishi pulled out her foot spa and turned on streaming with no hesitation.
She needed companionship. Companionship would help her keep her mind clear.
“Today I am going to draw a…. man’s… back…. using traditional painting technique.”
Having said that, Gu Shishi smacked herself on her good-for-nothing cheeks that were still burning a little.
She quickly picked up her paintbrush and started calming down.

Sure enough, so many were still awake at this hour.
Gu Shishi let out a sigh of relief. She felt much better knowing that wasn’t the only sleepless one out there.
Plus, there were so many girls who wanted to look at pretty boys in the middle of the night. She wasn’t the only crazy one.
“Hmm, okay. Ancient style then.”
That didn’t matter too much to Gu Shishi.
A few simple etches and a man’s back could be vaguely seen amidst the azure, misty rain.
Donations started to be thrown around the channel.
Gu Shishi, nevertheless, did not stop there. The tip of her paintbrush carried on painting.
