Shang Xia obtained many pointers from Kou Chongxue and it wasn’t his first time watching the patriarch unleash his sword qi. Huang Jinghan’s sword skills might be great, but from the sword strike he unleashed to chase Shang Xia away, he knew that Huang Jinghan was far from being able to match Kou Chongxue.
Even though he knew that Huang Jinghan wasn’t the only one stationed around the forbidden region and he would have to clash with the Yuanchen Sect if he wished to enter, Shang Xia had no other choice.
If he chose to retreat, entering the forbidden region would only become more difficult.

Shang Xia caught on to the opportunity to barge into the forbidden region that was right before him.
“Hmph, you little runt, you don’t know what’s good for you!” Huang Jinghan grunted. He clearly gave a lot of leeway earlier when he released his sword qi. He didn’t think that the other party would try to take advantage of the situation and attempt to force his way in.

Behind Shang Xia, Huang Jinghan shattered his Five Word Sealing Art and took a single step to arrive behind him. It was clear Huang Jinghan wanted to prevent Shang Xia from escaping.
Shang Xia fell into an inescapable trap and it seemed as though it was Huang Jinghan’s plan all along.
Without any intention to sit still and accept his fate, the Five Element Ring started to shine again. A clear blue stream of dipper qi appeared before him and started to flow into the void. It forcefully carved out a peaceful spatial tunnel through the void.
Shang Xia took a step and tried to enter, but Pang Jingyun’s whip arrived and forced him to pause slightly.
“Brother Shang, your appearance here is really making things difficult for me...” Pang Jingyun’s voice rang in his ears.
A cold snort left Shang XIa’s lips. “Oh really? From your actions, you don’t seem to be in too difficult of a position?”
The void was torn open as his whip passed, but the spatial fluctuations were forcefully suppressed. It showed how great Pang Jingyun’s control over his technique was and it also proved how far he was going to go to prevent the spatial fluctuations from affecting the forbidden region.
“Hahaha. Now that you arrived, it seems as though what we’re looking for is really within the forbidden region. Am I right, Brother Shang?” Pang Jingyun asked again.
“What are you talking about? I don’t understand...” Shang Xia continued to fly forward and he seemed to ignore the spatial cracks in his way that were caused by the whip. His Five Element Dipper Qi poured out from his body and sealed off those cracks.
Both sides were conducting a verbal spar as they made their moves, and it seemed as though quite some time had passed during their exchange. However, everything happened in a split second.
Huang Jinghan continued to press closer as his sword rose. He actually revealed a hint of killing intent and he was ready to slay the young Martial Dipper Realm expert!
