Luo Xiuyi stepped forward, his eyes brimming with tenderness as he observed Luo Shu for a long while. His gaze once again became lifelessly still. Qianyu had already said her name was Luo Shu, what was he still hoping for?
Luo Shu looked at Luo Xiuyi in astonishment. If she hadn’t misheard, the first thing her second granduncle called her upon seeing her was her mother’s name. It was a name she had learned just yesterday from Luo Jianmin. Could there be some past between him and her mother? A speculation so unbelievable it flashed through her mind.
Luo Shu shook her head, immediately dismissing the thought.
Luo Qianyu watched the three people present and cleared his throat, announcing, "Now I have something to announce!" Seeing that the three were looking at him, he continued, "Actually, Luo Shu is also one of our Divine Doctor Family. She is the daughter of Second Uncle and Song Yushuang."

"Yushuang! I’m sorry!" Tears streamed down Luo Xiuyi’s face as he pounded his chest in anguished howls of regret.
If he hadn’t left back then, Yushuang wouldn’t have married someone else, and his daughter wouldn’t have called another man father for so many years. If he had decisively taken Yushuang away upon meeting her, perhaps she wouldn’t be dead now. It was all because of him, his selfishness had caused all of this.
Luo Shu looked dumbfounded at Luo Xiuyi, who was sobbing like a child. She never expected her conjecture to come true.
Now she truly felt toyed with by fate, being from the Divine Doctor Family was one thing. But the pace at which a dad became an uncle, a grandfather became a big uncle, and a second granduncle became dad, really made her want to curse.

"Then can you call me daddy?" Luo Xiuyi asked, his eyes full of hope, looking at Luo Shu.
Luo Shu nodded, but when the word almost left her lips, she found she couldn’t say it. She couldn’t adapt to this new identity.
"It’s okay, you can call me that later." Luo Xiuyi forced a smile, but he couldn’t hide the disappointment in his eyes.
Seeing Luo Xiuyi’s expression, Luo Shu felt a twinge in her heart, "Dad... Daddy!" Though it felt unfamiliar, she could not bear to see him sad.
"Ah!" At that moment, Luo Xiuyi seemed reborn, and his entire essence, qi, and spirit were transformed.
Luo Xiuran glanced at the father and daughter, motioned to Luo Qianyu, and started walking outside. Now was the happiest time for his younger brother, and some things were better not asked in front of him.
