Luo Qianyu smiled and nodded, then hurried toward the courtyard where she was staying. She hadn’t seen Xiao Xuexue in such a long time and really missed her!
Yang Muxue was watering the flowers in the courtyard. Because of the issues with Luo Shu, she had lost quite a bit of weight these past days.
She touched her slightly protruding belly. Could it be that Luo Shu disappeared because she was pregnant? But hadn’t Luo Shu said that she was supposed to have twins with her first pregnancy?

"Put me down!" Yang Muxue chided him, playfully pounding on Luo Qianyu’s shoulder.
"No! From now on, I’ll carry you and our little treasure every day. By the way, why didn’t you all tell me this great news?" Thinking about this, Luo Qianyu felt a bit down. If they had told him earlier, he wouldn’t have asked like a fool why her belly had gotten fatter.
"I didn’t let them tell you because I wanted to tell you this good news in person," Yang Muxue said. She didn’t want to distract him; Shushu was going to be their child in the future, their family now, and she hoped Qianyu could bring her back.
Luo Qianyu gently laid Yang Muxue on the bed and leaned down, pressing his head against her belly, "Little treasure, I’m your dad, come on, call me daddy."

Luo Qianyu took Yang Muxue’s hand in his, while his other arm wrapped around her waist, "I won’t leave you for so long again." When he found out she was pregnant, apart from happiness, he also felt guilty. She had been pregnant for so long, and he, as her husband, had had no idea.
"Okay!" Yang Muxue nodded with a smile. She didn’t want to be apart from him for that long either, and next time he had to leave, she would go with him.
The Lu family was filled with a joyful atmosphere, and everyone had a happy smile on their face.
"Sister-in-law, I propose a toast to you!" Lu Hanyun raised his glass with a smile, clinking it against Luo Shu’s.
"Cheers!" Luo Shu lifted her glass and drained it in one go. On such a joyous day, she was happy to drink to her heart’s content.
"Sister-in-law, I also toast you," Lu Zixun stood up, raised her glass, and said.
Luo Shu extended her hand and clinked glasses with Lu Zixun, then drank and said, "This time I brought back some delicious foods for you." She was surrounded by many foodies, so she had brought back lots of delicacies from The Lost Space.
"Sister-in-law, you’re the best! I like you the most!" Lu Zixun said cheerfully.
"If you keep eating , I’m afraid you won’t be able to marry out," Wu Xueling said, teasing Lu Zixun with a laugh.
"If I can’t marry out, I’ll just stay with mom always," Lu Zixun said, latching onto Wu Xueling’s arm with a chuckle.
Wu Xueling waved her hand in feigned disgust, "I don’t want that; if you keep eating , you’ll eat me out of house and home. What then?"
"It’s fine, dad will make money, right dad?" Lu Zixun said with a smile, looking toward Lu Zhengjun sitting at another table.
"I still have to provide for your mom; I can’t afford you," Lu Zhengjun said with a laugh.
Pouting, Lu Zixun turned back to Luo Shu, "Sister-in-law is still the best, I’ll just come to you from now on."
"No way! I can’t afford you either," Luo Shu hastily put on a mockingly terrified expression.
"Hahaha..." Everyone in the hall laughed, and even those bustling in the kitchen were infected by the jubilant mood.
After dinner, everyone gathered on the sofas to watch TV, drink tea, and chat.
Luo Shu distributed the gifts she had brought back this time to everyone. That afternoon, after returning to the Lu family, she had already contacted her friends and Luo Zheng to tell them she was safely back. She also told them that she would visit in a couple of days.

"I’ll go with you to check it out," Luo Shu said as she got up and followed Lu Hanmo.
