After waiting for quite a while and still seeing no one, she could only walk over to a house with its lights on and knock on the door.
"Who is it?" A raspy voice came from inside the house, and then a middle-aged guard’s wife opened the door.

The middle-aged guard’s wife immediately picked up the girl, glared at Guo Moli with fury, "Get out of my house!" She didn’t care who the other person was at the moment; anyone who hurt her child was her biggest enemy.
Guo Moli, who initially felt somewhat guilty, became angry upon being shouted at by the middle-aged guard’s wife. She glared back at the guard’s wife and strode out of the house. If it hadn’t been for her daughter smearing snot on her clothes first, would she have pushed her?

Luo Shu crouched down, flipped the little girl’s hair, and saw a large bump swelling up, "Turn her over, I’ll take her pulse."
The middle-aged Guard Officer’s Wife nodded, turned the little girl over, and handed her hand to Luo Shu, comforting the incessantly weeping child, "Meizi, be good! Auntie is a doctor; it won’t hurt after she looks at it."
Luo Shu placed her fingers on the little girl’s wrist, paused for about ten seconds, then removed her hand and said, "There’s a minor concussion, I’ll go get a pill for you, you’ll be fine after taking it."
She stood up, stepped into the room, and within a short while, Luo Shu came out and handed a black pill to the middle-aged Guard Officer’s Wife.
"Thank you! Sister-in-law Lu, thank you so much!" The middle-aged Guard Officer’s Wife quickly took the pill and placed it into the little girl’s mouth, then took the water Luo Shu handed her and gave the little girl two sips.
Luo Shu smiled and shook her head, "No need to be polite!"
"Sister-in-law Lu, let me tell you something. That woman next door, she’s snooping around about your factory. The reason Meizi fell was because she pushed her. Can you believe there are such evil women in the world? Meizi simply bumped into her, and she pushed my Meizi, a mere five-year-old! What does she know?" "What was she asking about?" Luo Shu asked, frowning. Her impression of Guo Moli worsened.
"She asked if your factory had two bosses, which one Sister-in-law Yang belonged to, and also some details about your factory," the middle-aged Guard Officer’s Wife quickly recounted in detail what Guo Moli had interrogated her about. With Sister-in-law Lu’s husband being the Deputy Squadron Leader Lu, a highly influential man, if Sister-in-law Lu could help her out, that Shen Squadron Leader and Zhao Dahai would surely be sent packing in no time, just like that.
Luo Shu nodded faintly, "It’s getting late, Sister-in-law should take the child home to rest."
"Alright!" The middle-aged Guard Officer’s Wife looked down at the child in her arms, who, unbeknownst to her, had already fallen asleep.
