"This is mold tea, which contains flavonoids that can eliminate harmful acids and ketones in the body, significantly clear blood stasis, regulate blood lipids, lower blood pressure, and soften blood vessels. It also regulates renal tubule absorption, improves sleep, frequent urination, and so on. Moreover, it has the effects of clearing heat and detoxifying, relieving pain and swelling, lowering fats and pressure, moistening the throat, stopping coughs, and regulating and enhancing the body’s immunity. People from the region where this tea originates call it Tu Family Divine Tea or Immortal Grass," Luo Shu said.
"It has so many benefits! Then surely this tea must be very expensive?" Wu Tong took another sip, finding it sweet and leaving a delicate fragrance of tea.
"The tea itself isn’t that expensive; it’s just hard to get," Luo Shu replied. There are no logistics companies now, and many local specialties are only sold locally.
"Does this restaurant sell it?" Wu Tong asked, hope lighting up her face. If they did, she would buy more to take back home. As a teacher, she often suffered from throat pain due to speaking loudly during lessons, and since this tea had the effect of soothing the throat and relieving pain, it seemed perfect for her.
"Wait a moment, I’ll go ask for you. You guys go ahead and order, I’ll make a trip to the kitchen," Luo Shu stood up.
Just as she was about to turn towards the kitchen, a surprised voice came from the entrance, "Luo Shu!"
Luo Shu turned her head to look and smiled, "What a coincidence!" Life is full of unexpected encounters indeed!
Yun Han strode over to Luo Shu, his eyes shining with surprise, "I was just passing by this restaurant and thought I’d look inside; I didn’t expect to find you here." When he walked by the restaurant, he felt spiritual energy emanating from within and got curious, so he entered.
"This restaurant belongs to one of my elders. What brings you to the city?" Luo Shu inquired.
"I arranged to meet a friend in the city," Yun Han said, smiling. They had agreed to meet here after he received a message from that friend this morning.
The moment Wu Tong saw Yun Han, her heart skipped a beat.
Yun Han had an exquisitely handsome face, a straight nose, and his eyes under arching brows were as deep and enticing as the sea, drawing people unwittingly into their depths, making it impossible to extricate themselves.
Wu Tong’s heartbeat quickened uncontrollably. Was this what it felt like to be attracted to someone? So, love at first sight really existed in this world.
"Tongtong, this is Yun Han. Isn’t he impressive? Your big sister didn’t lie to you, did she?" Wu Yuan excitedly tugged at Wu Tong beside her. It seemed Tongtong and Yun Han were destined to meet; otherwise, how could their paths cross here?
Pulled back to reality by Wu Yuan, Wu Tong withdrew her gaze from Yun Han reluctantly.
Feeling someone’s eyes on him, Yun Han turned his head and met Wu Tong’s gaze, frowning slightly. She must be Sister-in-law Li’s younger sister.
When Yun Han looked her way, Wu Tong’s face instantly flushed, and she lowered her head shyly. Her heart pounded so fiercely that it seemed its beating was audible.
"I should go now; my friend is waiting for me," Yun Han withdrew his gaze and said to Luo Shu. Even if he didn’t have a friend waiting, he wouldn’t have stayed. He had no intention of having a blind date with Sister-in-law Li’s sister.
"Okay!" Luo Shu watched Yun Han leave the restaurant and then turned to go to the kitchen.
"Why did he leave so soon?" Wu Yuan asked in surprise, quickly getting up to follow. She had thought that since they had run into each other, Yun Han would certainly stay and have a meal with them. But he left so abruptly that she didn’t have time to react.
Wu Yuan chased after him out of the restaurant but didn’t see Yun Han anywhere. "How did that kid leave so quickly?"
Staring in the direction where Yun Han had disappeared, Wu Tong felt a sense of loss.
Luo Shu entered the kitchen to see Old Master Ning busy at work. She approached him with a smile, "Grandpa Ning, where have you been these days?"
Old Master Ning looked up at Luo Shu without stopping his task, "After we parted that day, I was coming back when I encountered a powerful individual. If it weren’t for the Talismans you gave me, I wouldn’t have made it back."
Luo Shu frowned, stepping forward to help out as usual, "What happened to that person?" Her movements were swift, unaffected by her pregnancy.
"He fled after getting injured, but I think he will come back," Old Master Ning said calmly. Life and death were beyond control, and he had long since accepted this.
Luo Shu paused from washing vegetables, took out a stack of recently crafted Talismans, and placed them before Old Master Ning, "Grandpa Ning, keep these Talismans with you." She wouldn’t let him face danger.
"Sure!" Old Master Ning nodded, smiling and without any pretense of reluctance.
After chatting with Old Master Ning for a bit, Luo Shu carried two freshly cooked dishes out of the kitchen to her table and placed them on it, "Try this, it’s the signature dish of this restaurant."

Sitting down at her spot, Luo Shu noticed Wu Tong across from her, absentmindedly drinking her tea, and raised an eyebrow, "Wu Tong, why aren’t you eating? Is it not to your liking?"
Wu Yuan pulled herself together, aware everyone was looking at her and feeling a bit embarrassed, "I was just lost in thought."
Qi Hui took a piece of shrimp cake, took a bite, and beamed with satisfaction, "If it weren’t for those two people we ran into last time, we would have eaten here already."
Wu Yuan nodded in agreement, "Exactly, we missed out on the delicious food for nothing."
"What happened?" Fang Jingmei asked, puzzled.
"Last time Luo Shu brought us here to eat, but the place was full. We saw a man and a woman almost done with their meal, so we waited for their spot. But after they finished eating, they didn’t leave and just sat there chatting and drinking tea. We had a few words with them, which led to an argument, and then we didn’t get to eat," Qi Hui recounted the incident.
"There’s nothing you can do about people like that," Fang Jingmei shook her head.
"When they left, they threatened to get back at us, but I don’t know if they ever came back to cause trouble for the restaurant," Qi Hui sighed, finishing the rest of the shrimp cake.
As Sun Xiaolan happened to come up with more dishes, she heard Qi Hui’s remark, "They came back once, and we threw them out." There was no reasoning with those types of people.
"Deserved!" Qi Hui and Wu Yuan exclaimed at the same time.
