"Ah!" Perhaps due to anger, Guo Li screamed, and the child was finally born.
"Why isn’t this child moving?" The Guard’s Wife, who delivered the baby, stared at the baby in her hands, bloody and pale-faced, and cried out in panic.
She turned the baby over and patted its little bottom twice, but there was still no response.
"Let me see." Luo Shu reached out to take the baby, examined it, then massaged the baby’s belly a few times before turning the baby over again and patting its back.
The little baby coughed a few times and then cried out loudly, "Waah!" which allowed everyone present to relax.
"Sister-in-law Lu, are you a doctor? How do you know so much about this?"

"Exactly! Sister-in-law Qian was bleeding a lot just now. I was terrified."

As the Guard’s Wives were discussing, two doctors squeezed through the crowd and came in. Seeing that the baby had been delivered, they also breathed a sigh of relief. Childbirth is no joking matter, especially with severe bleeding.
"Divine Doctor Luo!" Upon seeing Luo Shu, the doctors’ eyes lit up. It seemed that the smooth delivery was all thanks to Divine Doctor Luo.
Upon hearing this, the Guard’s Wives all turned to look at Luo Shu in shock and disbelief. She indeed was a doctor, and not just any doctor, but a divine one. There had been rumors that Chief Bai’s daughter was healed by Luo Shu, but they didn’t quite believe it then. Now, it seemed it was true.
"The mother is very weak now; let’s send her and the baby to the hospital," Luo Shu told the doctors. Though there was no longer a threat to her life, having lost so much blood, she definitely needed to be hospitalized.
"Okay!" The doctors nodded quickly.
One doctor ran out to have a stretcher brought up, then they lifted Guo Li and the baby onto the stretcher and carried them out.
Qian Qiaoqin ran into the room, grabbed a big bag, and wanted to follow, but was stopped by Lin Helian, "I know you were momentarily misguided. I can forgive you for this incident, but you must return the money to me." Even if she doesn’t blame her, Qian Qiaoqin would likely be haunted by her conscience for life.
Qian Qiaoqin took out a stack of money from her pocket and handed it over to Lin Helian with a guilty expression, "I’m sorry! I was wrong!" She truly regretted it now; if it weren’t for her momentary greed, things wouldn’t have turned out this way.
Lin Helian took the money and turned to Luo Shu. She had said she didn’t blame Qian Qiaoqin, but she wasn’t going to forgive her. This money was retrieved by Yhan Zhan through life and death struggles. How could she forgive Qian Qiaoqin for stealing it?
Qian Qiaoqin looked deeply at Lin Helian, then chased in the direction where Guo Li and the others had left. She knew this matter was not over, and she would definitely have to take responsibility for it. It was very likely that her brother would also be punished because of her involvement.
Lin Helian and Luo Shu went downstairs, and after what had just happened, neither was in the mood.

Guo Li opened her eyes and when she saw Qian Qiaoqin by her bedside, she turned her head away in anger, "You can go back. I don’t need you here." She had disgraced not only herself but also their marriage. Old Qian was coming back tonight from his mission, and who knows if he would be disciplined because of his sister.
"Sister-in-law, I know I was wrong. I have returned the money to Sister-in-law Yhan, and she said she doesn’t blame me," Qian Qiaoqin said. She truly regretted everything now, but there was nothing she could do after it had all happened. She just hoped her brother would not be implicated. Once this was over, she would leave and never return.
"I don’t want to see you right now," Guo Li said coldly. This time because of her, she almost lost her life and nearly lost her child.
"Sister-in-law, I really know I was wrong. Please forgive me this once! And you need someone to take care of you here," Qian Qiaoqin pleaded with Guo Li. She did not want to leave; once she stepped out, she would have to face the judgemental looks from others. She truly did not want to face those mocking, contemptuous stares.
Guo Li snorted and ignored Qian Qiaoqin. No matter whether Old Qian would be disciplined because of her or not, she never wanted to see this sister-in-law again.
Knowing that Guo Li was upset, Qian Qiaoqin remained silent.
Hearing the baby cry, she went over to check on him and found he was crying because his diaper was wet.
She went to the cupboard, opened it, and took a clean diaper out of a big pack. This big pack, prepared early in the morning, contained small clothes and cotton diapers.
She changed the baby’s wet diaper, then went to the restroom to wash the dirty one. Now, the only thing she could do to slightly ease her guilt was to keep herself busy.
Lin Helian and Luo Shu arrived in the city and immediately headed to the post office.
"Comrade! I’d like to send a remittance, is it still possible?" Lin Helian asked the staff behind the counter. If not, she would deposit it; anyway, the money absolutely couldn’t be kept with her.
"Where is it being sent?" the staff member asked.

The post office was the busiest before the new year, so many transactions, even if accepted, would have to wait until after the holidays.
Lin Helian thought for a moment, "Then send it." The money had to be sent sooner or later.
The staff member nodded, pulled out a remittance form, and handed it to Lin Helian, "Fill out this form."

The staff member took out another form and handed it to Lin Helian, "Fill in your personal information here."

Luo Shu stepped forward and looked at the form. The form was very different from those in the future, but the general information required was still much the same, except there was no space for an ID number.
