It wasn’t long before the man with the black face and the middle-aged man returned, both wearing a hint of a smile on their faces.
"I have already investigated the matter, and you two must apologize to him. Otherwise, our black market will intervene in this matter, and the consequences will not be something you can bear," the man with the black face sternly said to Luo Shu and her company, his tone full of threat.
"Apologize? Are you joking?" Luo Shu sneered contemptuously and turned to the middle-aged man, "You were sent by Lin Yu, weren’t you?" The only ones who wanted her dead now were that mysterious person and Lin Yu. Cloud City was the Lu family’s territory, and it wasn’t easy for that person to infiltrate it, so she guessed it was Lin Yu.
Surprise flickered in the middle-aged man’s eyes, "What are you talking about? I don’t understand." How could she know that it was Lin Yu who sent him?
He and Lin Yu were each other’s first love, but his status was not up to the Lin Family’s standards. That was why the Lin Family had strongly opposed their relationship from the start.

Luo Shu smiled faintly and stepped towards the middle-aged man, "Really don’t understand? Then why did you all the way here?" With his poor tracking skills, she and Fu Yi had discovered him long ago. They just wanted to know what his purpose in following them was.
Hearing Luo Shu’s words, the middle-aged man showed a look of shock and involuntarily stepped back two paces. She actually knew he was stalking her?
He swallowed, struggling to remain calm, "When did I follow you? I don’t even know you, and that dagger just dropped out by accident." She was just a little girl; what did he have to be afraid of?
"Don’t worry, I will make you tell the truth." As Luo Shu spoke, her figure swiftly shifted. Before anyone could react, she was already behind the middle-aged man, a silver light gliding across her fingertips.
The next moment, the middle-aged man’s expression had become vacant, and his gaze listless and empty.
Fu Yi squinted his eyes, watching Luo Shu with a trace of surprise and curiosity. Was she really just a country girl as the information suggested?
Luo Shu walked slowly to the front of the middle-aged man, looking at him indifferently, "Speak, who sent you?"
"It was Lin Yu—I like her. She said that as long as I killed you, she would be with me," the middle-aged man revealed without any concealment. His brain was no longer under his control.
"As I thought, it’s her!" Luo Shu chuckled coldly, a bone-chilling coldness flickering in her starry eyes. She had neither provoked nor offended Lin Yu, yet she persisted like a madwoman, relentless in her pursuit. Did Lin Yu really think she was a soft persimmon to be squashed at will?
Turning to the man with the black face, "Can we go now?"
"Ye... yes!" The man with the black face said with some difficulty. He didn’t dare to keep her now; what if she dealt with him like she did with the middle-aged man? He still didn’t understand how the middle-aged man had been reduced to this state.
Luo Shu looked at Fu Yi and motioned toward the middle-aged man, "Take him with us." They wanted to kill her, so how could she just let it go so easily?
Fu Yi stepped forward, grabbing the middle-aged man by the collar and dragging him outside.
After leaving the black market, Luo Shu told Fu Yi to take the middle-aged man to a secluded alley and gave him a beating.
Stopping her assault, Luo Shu looked at the middle-aged man, now swollen and bruised from her punches, "Go back and tell Lin Yu that I will be coming for her."
The middle-aged man nodded hurriedly, "I... I will tell her..." If he had known she was such a terrifying person, he would never have provoked her. There were plenty of women in the world, but one only had one life after all!
Luo Shu curved her lips in satisfaction and glanced at Fu Yi before striding forward, "Let’s go back!" They hadn’t managed to sell the ginseng today; it seemed they’d have to come out again tomorrow.

Luo Shu glanced indifferently at the woman, directly passing by her and continuing forward.
"Please wait a moment!" The woman called out, quickly catching up to Luo Shu and her company.
Luo Shu stopped, turning to look at the woman, "What is it?"
"I want to buy that wild ginseng of yours," the woman said. She had come to the black market exactly to find ginseng for her ill grandmother. She heard that Hundred-year-old ginseng had life-prolonging effects, but after searching all the drugstores in Cloud City, she couldn’t find any selling Hundred-year-old ginseng.
A moment ago in the black market, she had seen the ginseng at their stall. Although she wasn’t sure if it was the Hundred-year-old ginseng she was looking for, its appearance was clearly much better than the ginseng she had seen in the drugstores.
