It was too rough and utterly lacking in finesse. Yang Yi thought Anton was more like a petty thief than an agent with a KGB background.
Brian and Paul, armed, waited briefly for Anton outside the guardhouse. Just as Anton emerged and the two were about to proceed, Anton’s voice came through the walkie-talkie, deeply commanding, "Retreat!"
Anton’s call for a retreat left Yang Yi utterly stunned.
Zhang Yong was with Alpha’s trio, and Yang Yi led Trident’s assault team about to storm inside through the gate Anton had cut when Anton abruptly called for a retreat.
