First of all, I’m sorry.
My apology comes because I just realized that I’ve become negligent.
After doing the same work for a long time, feelings of weariness are inevitable, and that’s what happened to me. So, recently, I’ve been uploading my writing immediately after finishing without checking it at all.
Since the launch of the new book, there have been many typos, as well as fragmented and missing sentences. My readers have pointed this out many times, but I simply haven’t been patient enough to check and revise my work. Now, I’ve even got the Chapter titles wrong—a mistake that’s unforgivable, one I can’t even forgive myself for.
That’s why I said I’ve been a bit negligent.
Then, I still have the passion to create because this book is related to the previous one and is something I had planned a long time ago. There are many plot holes I must fill, so coming up with the plot isn’t a problem for me. However, now I’ve become lazy. While I’m willing to come up with ideas, I’m reluctant to actually write them down.
My health isn’t great right now, and this really is affecting me. But on closer reflection, I’m not at the point where I can only write four thousand words when I can’t reach six thousand—it’s just that I don’t want to write. This is an attitude problem.
I was supported by my readers, and now that I’ve achieved a little success, I’ve become negligent. This isn’t right, nor is it okay.
Recognizing a mistake of course means I must correct it. From now on, I’ll check my work before publishing, and I’ll update with six thousand words—as long as my health can handle it, I will definitely update. If I can’t handle it, there’s nothing I can do; at least it won’t be an attitude problem then.
However, I’m currently away from home; typing is inconvenient and also tiring, so I can only improve the quantity after I return home. That would be by June 10th. I need to make this clear in advance, so you don’t accuse me of going back on my word if there’s no added update tomorrow.
I had planned to make these changes quietly on my own, but then I thought that maybe after a while, I might become slack again. Therefore, I decided to issue a formal apology in a dedicated Chapter to show my attitude and to push and remind myself.
Last, I must ask for monthly votes—I really need to ask for them because my ratings are quite poor. You all know I rarely open a dedicated Chapter. Since I’m doing it this time, let’s not waste this opportunity and I still ask for monthly votes.
