Fei Ling hid his smile. "He’s a member of the Fei family; of course, he would return. Especially since he miraculously survived past that age. Grandfather gave him a chance to contend for the successor."
Brother Yu- Fei Yuxian- narrowed his eyes dangerously. "He dared to covet what’s mine? How dare he. He’s no longer the genius child. Things have changed."
Fei Ling smiled as he sipped from his glass. Fei Chuan might have escaped punishment from their father because he ran away, but time wouldn’t pause for him. Fei Ling would use this chance to rally up his cousins to loathe Fei Chuan even more.
"What is this?" A rough voice echoed throughout the room.
The people in the lounge jumped at the familiar voice and looked at the entrance in shock.
At the door, the headmaster of the Fei family, Fei Yuanggang, was looking at the big screen with a dark expression.
The video continued to play. On the screen, Fei Chuan finally realized something was stuck on his back. He removed it and read the writing on the paper. The camera zoomed in on his expression.
Unfortunately, Fei Chuan’s long bangs obscured his eyes, leaving the voices in the video wondering about his next move.
[Hey, do you think the target will get angry?]
[You know he’s a coward. Unless he wants to die, he won’t face them.]

Murmurs filled the video. In the screen, Fei Chuan crumpled the paper and just walked away.
HeadMaster Fei ordered his butler coldly, "Turn it off and send me the original copy. Make sure that any videos with him involved will be taken down."
"Yes, HeadMaster."
As the butler left, HeadMaster Fei fixed a cold gaze on his grandchildren. "Now tell me. Are you all watching this while laughing at your youngest cousin?"
The one called Brother Yu, Fei Yuxian, stood up nervously. "Greetings to the Patriarch."
"Answer my question."
Fei Yuxian glanced at Fei Ling. This bastard suggested to watch it together and he agreed because he said it was a good show. But to think that he did not even secure the place! Why that damn door was unlocked? Now Grandfather had caught them.
"We are not laughing at our youngest brother. We are frustrated for him."
HeadMaster Fei gave him a cold look. "I heard that Fei Chuan is causing trouble and shaming the family at school. Did this news come from you?"
Fei Yuxian immediately threw Fei Ling under the bus. "It wasn’t from me, Grandpa. It’s from Fei Ling. He suggested watching it together so we can find a way to help the youngest."
Fei Ling was the most afraid of the patriarch. However, this was a great opportunity to tarnish Fei Chuan’s name in the eyes of their grandfather.
He nervously bowed his head. "I got this from the youngest’s classmates. Such videos are circulating in their school forum. When I discovered that my brother is being treated poorly in that school, I told Father about it.
"Father is concerned and wanted to help the youngest, he suggested transferring him to another school. But my brother ran away instead. Since Father’s suggestion won’t work, I asked my big cousins to come up with an idea to help my brother."
HeadMaster Fei glanced at him. But he no longer pressed the matter on his grandchildren. He scolded them and warned them to delete all the videos in their hands.
"The next time I catch you watching this and laughing at your brother, I will throw you to other branches, understand?"
"Yes, Patriarch," his grandchildren answered humbly.
HeadMaster Fei turned around. "Fei Ling, tell your father to meet me in the study. I need to discuss this matter further with him. We can’t let your brother wander outside, especially with his delicate health."
Since he couldn’t vent his anger toward his grandchildren, he had to seek answers from the one he deemed responsible.
Fei Ling lowered his head and clenched his fist.
Grandpa still favored that bastard Fei Chuan, and it seemed he wanted to bring the runaway back home.

Lin Sanju narrowed his eyes darkly at her. "Haven’t you learned your lesson enough? We almost got kicked out instead of Bei Sangyun last time! You are playing with fire, Lin Sunji."
Lin Sunji snapped. "Why do you suddenly care? You always play with your games and aren’t interested in this kind of thing. Why are you interested in what I do to Bei Sangyun? So what if I am the one who spilled it to Sophia? Will you tell Grandfather?"
