Tian Shen High was the number one high school for the famous and rich generations’ heirs in the Capital. It housed many students from prominent and legendary families. So, each of the school’s public events caught the society’s attention.
Today marked the debut of the senior students of Tian Shen High in the facade of the homecoming dance. Many reporters had applied to cover the event months before the said date. Now, they had all set up their cameras to record each and every moment of the fateful night.
Finally, the red carpet was laid down. Tian Shen High’s dome event hall was officially opened. The trained and experienced staff went to their own positioned areas, ready to serve the upcoming students.
The instructors and faculties were the first to arrive, followed by the students.
Each couple of students walked on the red carpet as the flashes of lighting and the camera’s shutter surrounded them. The students who wore elegant gowns and flashy suits were not bothered at all. They even posed and raised their chins high as they walked as slowly as they could on the red carpet.
When the students from the three classes of 3-1 arrived, the reporters became energized. Most of the rich heirs, Young Misses, and Young Masters of the prominent families were in the three-star sections. Especially in Class 3-1A, every student was worthy of being featured.
A reporter had just finished taking a picture of the recent couple and asked his colleague beside him, "The Young Master from the Jang family hasn’t arrived yet, right?"
"Right. Also, the Young Masters and Young Misses from the Lin family haven’t arrived either."
The reporter who just asked leaned closer and whispered, "I’ve heard some inside news. It is said that the fourth young miss of the Lin family partnered with the Young Master of the Jang family. I bet it’s true."
His colleague looked surprised, "Are you sure? If this is true, this could be a great scoop! Could it be that the Jang family and the Lin family are planning an engagement?"
"My cousin’s friend works here as a faculty staff. When he was delivering the tools at the school’s gym, he saw the Young Miss from the Lin family and the Young Master from the Jang family practicing dancing!"
"Then let’s better write this article before they arrive." His colleague immediately opened his notes on the phone and started drafting. But the reporter had more to say.
"I have some other inside news. This is way bigger." The reporter excitedly shared, "That friend of my cousin said that there is a student here who has everyone under her rule, including the students and the principal! In fact, she has the whole school under her control!"
His colleague continued typing and dismissed the rumor, "Are you referring to the ’tyrant’? Everyone knows about her. But this is just a prank by the students. The tyrant is a flop. Although she is from the Lin family, she’s an illegitimate daughter. She only got attention because of her connection to the great Lin family. Anyway, those people from high society can see through her facade. There’s no need to feature something uninteresting."
"That’s what I thought too. But my cousin’s friend is thoroughly convinced. The tyrant really holds power in the school. People outside won’t believe it because they don’t see it with their own eyes."
"Impossible. How can an illegitimate daughter empower everyone? Not to mention, the real young miss of the Lin family is also there. In fact, there are two Lin legitimate young misses there." His colleague seemed not to believe him.
The reporter noticed that his friend didn’t want to believe him at all, just like his other colleagues before. All of them dismissed it as laughable. After all, unlike him, who had seen the post his cousin’s friend sent him, his colleague didn’t witness it firsthand.

The reporter’s fingers started tapping on the screen fast.

On the red carpet, Jang Shin and Lin Sunji came out of the car.
Lin Sunji’s fiery red gown that flowed with her every move caught a lot of attention. The diamonds on her gown were sparkling, making her appear more stunning. While Jang Shin’s white suit made him more charismatic and princely.
The couple was very good-looking. They walked side by side, waving and smiling towards the cameras.
The couple was very photogenic, and the reporters loved them.
Not far away from the flashes of cameras and the noisy crowd, a white limousine was parked aside.

Bei Sangyun looked at Fei Chuan in wonder. Why did the car stop here? Did they have to walk from this point?
Fei Chuan coughed embarrassedly and opened his jacket. He then fished out a dark blue box.
"I saw it on the streets. Grandma Pei said that a man should not come empty-handed."

He was truly beautiful.
Seeing him acting more shy while presenting this to her made Bei Sangyun want to tease him more.
"Why make so many excuses? I will accept any gift from you."
Fei Chuan just harrumphed embarrassedly and urged her to open it.
Bei Sangyun reached out for the box. When she opened it, she saw a pair of deep blue sapphire earrings.
