Sorzus Syn Underground Laboratory – Korriban

The red glow of the Sith’s blade clashed against my aquamarine saber in a violent arc, sparks flying as the hum of pure energy echoed through the chamber. The underground laboratory had transformed into a war zone, alarms blaring, flickering red emergency lights casting twisted shadows against the metallic walls.

Ghost Squad was already engaged in their own battles. Blade weaved through enemies like a phantom, his cortosis and osmiridium swords slashing through Sith acolytes with precise, fluid movements. Gunner, dual Westar-34 revolvers in hand, fired off staggering blasts, taking down guards before they could react. Tracer, perched high on the catwalks, unleashed deadly headshots, eliminating hostiles before they could raise the alarm further.

But the Sith before me was no ordinary warrior.

The masked figure pressed forward aggressively, his strikes powerful and unrelenting. Juyo. The most ferocious and aggressive of all lightsaber forms. His movements were brutal, each strike meant to kill, each feint meant to deceive.

I shifted into Makashi, the elegant dueling form, using precise parries and counterattacks to deflect his wild but masterful swings. The moment he overextended, I retaliated with a rapid flourish, forcing him onto the defensive.

But the Sith adapted too quickly.

He twisted his body mid-combat, his free hand unleashing a blast of raw Dark Side energy. I barely had time to react, raising a Force shield to absorb the impact. The sheer force of it sent me sliding backward

, my boots screeching against the metal floor.

"Jedi filth," the Sith spat, voice distorted by his mask. "You think your Order still holds power here?"

I steadied myself, exhaling. "I don’t think. I know."

With a flick of my wrist, I hurled my saber at him, guiding it with the Force. The Sith barely dodged, but the distraction allowed me to close the distance, summoning my saber back to my hand in midair.

We clashed again, blades locked in a searing clash of red and blue-green energy.

Nearby, Blade found himself surrounded by three Sith acolytes, each wielding dual lightsabers. Their attacks came at unpredictable angles, their Shien and Niman forms overlapping in chaotic movements. But Blade was prepared.

He fought like a storm.

His cortosis blade crashed against their sabers, shorting out their energy for brief moments, allowing him to slip past their defenses. He sidestepped one strike, parried another, then spun into a devastating counter, severing an acolyte’s weapon arm before burying his second blade into the chest of another.

The last acolyte, panicked, attempted to flee—only to be dropped by a single shot from Tracer’s sniper rifle.

Meanwhile, Gunner’s revolvers roared, unleashing pulses of energy through the facility’s security teams. Every shot was calculated, each impact precise. Guards fell, machinery exploded, and control panels were fried in arcs of blue electricity.

The Ghost Squad was winning their battles—but the Sith forces were relentless. More figures emerged from the darkness, robed warriors with red blades igniting like burning coals.

Tracer’s voice came through my earpiece. "More incoming, General! Six—no, eight additional Sith!"

I grit my teeth. "We have to finish this fast."

The Sith Lord in front of me was no longer holding back.

With a roar of power, he unleashed a torrent of lightning, the sheer energy distorting the air around us. I barely had time to react, raising both hands and redirecting the crackling energy into the ground, forcing it away before it could consume me.

But the Sith was already moving. With unnatural speed, he leaped through the air, twisting mid-flight to strike down at me with all his strength.

I dropped low, rolling beneath the attack, using the Force to propel myself upward in an acrobatic counterattack. My blade sliced through his shoulder armor, sending sparks flying, but failing to land a fatal blow.

The Sith staggered, growling, his breathing heavy through his mask. For the first time, I saw uncertainty in his stance.

He was powerful, but he wasn’t invincible.

I centered myself, exhaling. The Force surrounded me, guiding my movements. This fight was over.

I charged forward, unleashing a flurry of rapid strikes—Makashi precision, Ataru agility, Shien’s raw power. The Sith tried to keep up, but he was on the defensive, faltering.

His footwork became sloppy. His rage had made him reckless.

Then I saw my opening.

With a swift, final arc of my blade, I cleaved through his side, piercing through his ribcage. He let out a shuddering gasp, his saber slipping from his grasp as he collapsed to his knees.

I stood over him, lightsaber still humming. He looked up, hatred and disbelief burning in his remaining strength.

"You... can’t... stop... what’s coming..." he rasped.

I narrowed my eyes. "Watch me."

With a final push of the Force, I sent him crashing backward, lifeless.

With their commander defeated, the remaining Sith forces crumbled.

Blade and Gunner finished off the last stragglers, while Tracer, from her sniper nest, called out over comms: "We need to move—now."

I turned, my breath heavy. "Status report!"

Blade wiped blood from his cortosis blade. "All targets neutralized. No losses."

Tracer’s voice was sharp. "That’s not the issue. The facility’s reactor is destabilizing!"

Ikarus’ voice crackled over comms. "We’re detecting massive energy fluctuations from the lower levels. If that thing goes off—"

I didn’t need him to finish. "Ghost Squad, evac now!"

We sprinted through the corridors as explosions began to rock the foundation of the facility. Pipes burst, sparks rained from overhead, and the sound of metal groaning under immense pressure filled the air.

The moment we reached the surface, the Royal Harpy was already waiting, engines primed for launch.

One by one, we leaped aboard, the ramp sealing behind us just as the ground beneath us erupted in a fiery explosion, sending a massive shockwave through the valley.

As we soared into the sky, I looked back. The temple of Sorzus Syn had collapsed, buried beneath tons of rock and flames.

The facility was gone.

But the war was far from over.

I turned to my team. "We’re not done. The Sith were planning something bigger. This was just the beginning."

Blade sheathed his sword. "Then we go where the fight takes us."

Gunner grinned. "Hell of a warm-up, though."

Tracer adjusted her rifle. "Where to next, General?"

I exhaled, eyes set on the horizon.

"We follow the trail. And we end this."
