When He Teng said he would restrain himself, he really did. After making love again slightly after eleven, he gave a break to his pretty wife who was all soft, wet from sweat, and took her to the bathroom for a shower, returning to the bed afterwards.
"Although it’s past eleven, it’s still alright. Let’s go to sleep. We’ll wake up early tomorrow to have breakfast." He Teng, content, held his naked woman close and closed his eyes. Since their marriage, or more precisely since Zhilan became obedient, he always looked forward to their nightly activities.
Zhilan was so tired that she didn’t even have the energy to move her little finger. Held by He Teng, she just lay there, too lazy to move. Hearing He Teng’s words, she used up the last of her energy to roll her eyes at him.
"Ha~" Instead of getting upset, He Teng, who was being stared at by her, suddenly began to laugh. He then pushed Zhilan’s face down and commanded, "Sleep!"
"Bro, I’ve noticed you’ve been laughing a lot these past few days." Zhilan made the observation as if she’d discovered a new continent. He Teng used to be a man of few words and fewer smiles. Even if he did smile, it was such a small motion that people could hardly tell. Maybe it was just a slight lift at the corner of his lips, or a hint of a smile in his eyes.
Zhilan rarely saw He Teng sport such a blatant smile, showing his teeth and emitting a soft chuckle with his deep voice. Even his body slightly shook with laughter. As she lay on his chest, she could even hear the sounds vibrating from his ribcage.
Without a doubt, Zhilan preferred this laughing, normal He Teng to the expressionless one. Every time He Teng smiled, Zhilan felt a desire to get even closer to him, and her courage increased a little.
As it happened now, after playfully teasing He Teng and seeing that he was not angry, Zhilan even dared to press her lips onto his chest, making a daring kiss. Zhilan was certain that the next morning, there would still be embarrassing traces on her.
But the object of her teasing only cast a downward glance, his gaze following Zhilan’s until she buried her head and, the next second, his chest felt her kiss. A kiss not carrying any guile, yet one that he thoroughly enjoyed.
Her lips had been away for quite a while and even her breathing had calmed down. He didn’t know when she fell asleep. All he could see in his line of vision was her disheveled black hair. He disapproved of the way Zhilan would bury herself in the blanket, regardless of the season, apparently not worrying about suffocation.
It was only after confirming that the woman in his arms was sound asleep that He Teng moved a bit, lifting her up a little so that Zhilan’s face was exposed. He watched her peacefully sleeping face for a while before finally starting to feel sleepy himself.
The next day, sunlight poured into the room, casting a gentle glow of gold in the small room and lighting up the woman on the bed, making her skin appear even paler and rosier.
The young woman moved slightly and her hands were the first to slide out of the covers, their smooth skin falling under the gaze of the man next to her.
"Get up if you’re awake."
He Teng, with difficulty, shifted his eyes away. Zhilan was half asleep, but he was well aware that the body under the covers, just like him, was completely bare. Her playfully waving hands and seductive collarbones were driving him crazy. If he kept on looking, he wouldn’t be able to concentrate all morning for his training.
The morning is undoubtedly when the beast in a man awakens.
