"I don’t understand what you’re saying. I just came down to find Ding Jinshi, Zhou Chenyue was very worried about her." The dim, coloured light fell on her face, leaving a large, bright patch on her pale face. Because of this, her eyes seemed even clearer but also confused.
He Zhilan pushed away Ding Long’s hand forcefully, running away almost as if she were fleeing. Ding Long’s voice, however, echoed in her ears like a haunting melody.
"He Zhilan, freshman in the Foreign Language Department at Capital University, Gu En’s roommate, we will meet again, I will definitely come to your school to find you."
Zhou Chenyue regretted agreeing to separate from He Zhilan to look for Jinshi, and she forgot that she was not good at directions. After walking around the same spot for a while, people began to look at her with strange eyes.

"Gu En, are you not ashamed of eavesdropping on me and He Zhilan?" Zhou Chenyue now understood that Gu En must have been outside the ladies’ room just now. But the restroom door was closed, and the soundproofing was good, so Gu En only heard a little bit and therefore came to her asking about it.
"And you’re not ashamed of gossiping about me behind my back?"
With Gu En’s sharp rebuke, Zhou Chenyue’s temper flared, "We weren’t badmouthing anyone, what’s there to be ashamed of? If it weren’t for you, would my sister and Lan Li have broken up? Would my sister have fallen into such a state?"
"What do I have to do with your sister and Brother Lan Li’s relationship? What does your sister’s self-degradation have to do with me? Zhou Chenyue, are you out of your mind?" After scolding her, Gu En turned and left.
Gu En didn’t go back to the third floor. Instead, he took familiar turns and found Ding Long. Just now, he had seen Ding Long talking to He Zhilan, but now he couldn’t see He Zhilan anywhere.
"How come you came down?" Ding Long saw Gu En and was the first to ask.
"So you’re allowed to come down for fresh air, but I’m not? Where’s He Zhilan? She’s my roommate, I saw her talking to you just now." Gu En’s tone was aggressive, perhaps because he was still angry.
