Even though He didn’t want to leave He Zhilan, there was no other choice. Neither she nor He Teng were locals of the capital, so they couldn’t stay and recuperate there like Lan Li. As He Teng said, the recovery time was long and it was not feasible to stay in the hospital the whole time.
After a while, He Zhilan finally nodded her head and took her hand back from He Teng, whispering, "You were sweating earlier, I’ll wipe you down. You take a nap at noon, and then I’ll go buy some food and cook dinner at Muhe’s apartment."
Seeing that He Zhilan did not object, He Teng’s heart still fluttered. Her reaction was so calm, it unnerved him.
And so, each with their own thoughts, neither of them spoke.

His tongue skfully invaded her defenses.
He watched her reaction with wide-open eyes, taking in all of her shock and shyness. However, what gave him immense pleasure was the fact that he did not see any trace of displeasure or loathing in her eyes.
The wet towel fell from He Zhilan’s hand with a plop onto the white thin quilt. Outside the window, the autumn wind rustled. But inside the ward, the temperature seemed to rise.
"Damn!" Muhe had just entered the room with He Teng’s medical report in his hand, only to discover the couple locked in a passionate kiss. He immediately backed out and closed the door sharply, "Carry on, pretend I wasn’t here!"
Only then did He Teng reluctantly let go of He Zhilan. Although what was done was done, He Teng was actually more embarrassed than He Zhilan.
