The moment she saw Gu En’s expression, He Zhilan backed away several steps, and just as she expected, Gu En lunged forward, attempting to snatch the western-style dress from her hands.

Why does she have to tell you where she got the dress from? If she wears a western dress, does that mean she has to be going to your grandfather’s birthday celebration?"
"Why would I go to your grandfather’s birthday celebration for no reason? I don’t know anyone in your family, we’re not friends, why would your grandfather’s birthday matter to me?" He Zhilan definitely wouldn’t admit that she was going to attend old Gu’s birthday celebration, else, God knows how Gu En would stop her.
