After being ridiculed with a hint of sarcasm and contempt by He Zhilan, the principal’s face couldn’t help but show embarrassment. Without another excuse, he admonished, "Zhilan, since you know the Gu Family has no room for you, you should take the hint and go. Why waste words here? If I were you, I would leave willingly."
"What a joke!" He Zhilan stood upright unmoving, "You may be the principal, but the school is not your private property. You can’t expel me just because you say so!"
"The Gu Family, right?" Lin Chan stood up in anger, "I’ll talk directly to our great head of the Gu Family and ask him, does the Gu Family boast such audacity and mean-spiritedness?"
Saying this, Lin Chan took out his phone, seeing which, the principal looked visibly aghast.
"Mr Chan, this is a matter for our school, shouldn’t you not interfere?"
"Looking at you, I can tell that it was Gu En’s idea to expel He Zhilan and not the Gu Family’s. " Lin Chan guessed instantly who was behind all this and smirked, "He Zhilan is my younger sister, I am her family, why shouldn’t I meddle in her affairs?"
"You may leave, Zhilan. This matter needs further discussion among the school leaders before we can give you a result." Unable to retort, the principal abruptly ushered her out.
"Alright, I’ll make this phone call the minute you school leaders have a decision. Let me tell you, if you provoke me, Lin Chan, I can go to any lengths. If I cause the head of the Gu family to lose face and he takes his anger out on you, don’t you regret then."
Leaving behind this threat, Lin Chan, grinning from ear to ear, escorted He Zhilan out of the principal’s office.

Sitting in the dormitory, He Zhilan listened to Jiang Biyun and Chen Xiting relaying the school rumours about her being divorced by her husband due to misconduct.
"I also heard they want to expel you because of this!" Chen Xiting was so angry she was actually stamping her foot, "Gu En is so devious, where does she get all these evil ideas from?"
"The principal called me in earlier; but, as Lin Chan was there, he didn’t dare to go one step further and asked me to return." To He Zhilan’s surprise, after a weekend, Gu En had arranged for her a spectacular drama.
Actually, He Zhilan really wanted to ask Gu En, was it fun to do all this?
