She claimed she could smell perfume!” Jiang Biyun playfully pushed Chen Xiting, and the two thus found themselves hovering around He Zhilan.
He Zhilan reached over to her bed, grabbing a square box wrapped in multiple layers of rep tape.
She sized it up, it was a bit heavy.
Giving it a shake, she didn’t hear any sound from within.
Chen Xiting approached with a pair of scissors, handed them to Zhilan with an overly humble demeanor, “My dear queen, please unveil the mystery!
Allow your humble servants to see what this mystery box contains!”
Everyone found her humorous remark amusing, even Gu En burst into laughter and joined the crowd in anticipation.
He Zhilan hesitated, “Are you all sure this is intended for me?
I don’t know anyone in the capital, could it have been delivered to the wrong person?”
The guy specifically confirmed with us, ‘Foreign Language Department, He Zhilan, long white hair, absolutely beautiful!'” Jiang Biyun assured.
“Did he mention his identity?” He Zhilan remained dubious.
“No, he only mentioned that he’s delivering it for a friend.

We haven’t even drilled you about this mysterious gift sender; you should at least show us what’s inside,” Jiang Biyun murmured, “I hope there’s food, I am still hungry.”
“You eat so much, I worry it might give you a stomachache!” retorted Gu En; she arrogantly took the scissors from Chen Xiting and proceeded, “Is it so hard to open a box?
You all take forever, I’ll do it!”
The scissors were new, hence very sharp.
Gu En quickly cut through the tape, yanked the box open, and triumphantly announced, “I told you it’s cosmetics!
I knew I smelled perfume!”
Now that she had proved herself right, Gu En tossed the box back to He Zhilan without displaying any interest and went back to her bed.
Zhilan held the box in perplexion, pondering who would have sent her these cosmetics?
“Zhilan, who sent all these?
These cosmetics aren’t cheap!” Jiang Biyun exclaimed, “Sunscreen, face cream, hand cream, perfume, lipstick – all labeled in English, these are imported products!
They are quite lavish!”
