Before He Zhilan could retort, Kang Xing unfolded half the page of the Fang Therapy Pavilion in front of He Teng and said, "Captain, look! Isn’t our little Zhilan gorgeous in this photo! I even snatched this newspaper from someone else! Just for Zhilan’s profile and this photo, I’ll have to preserve this newspaper well!"
He Teng took the newspaper from Kang Xing’s hand and glanced briefly at it. He did not really read the content – what he was interested in was the photo of He Zhilan printed on it. Zhilan in the photo, wearing an evening gown and standing in front of a microphone, seemed to be giving a speech. There was a smaller photo of her toasting the guests with a champagne glass, with Lin Chan and Chen Yun next to her. The rest of the photos were of the Lanteng Aroma Therapy Center and its products.
"Were you drinking that day?" He Teng focused only on this detail, "I remember you can’t drink."
He Zhilan quickly shook her head, "Lin Chan and the others know that I can’t drink. So, what I was drinking was not champagne, but a beverage that looked and smelled like one! Otherwise, I would probably have ended up passed out on the street after drinking for an entire night!"
"Focus on your studies. If there are any social obligations, make sure Lin Chan and the others accompany you. There should be at least one person around you, otherwise, I won’t feel at ease," He Teng instructed, "You can’t hold your liquor, so it’s best not to touch any alcohol.
