He Zhilan was truly provoked to the point of rage. It would have been impossible for the reporter to know this much and constantly hound her if not for the Gu Family’s benefits.
He Teng was a soldier, and it would never be possible for He Zhilan to disclose their relationship as it would impact him negatively.

Following his words, He Teng immediately pulled He Zhilan out of the building, not allowing those behind to catch up.
Once they left the hotel, He Teng helped He Zhilan into a taxi, his face colder than the snowy wind outside.
"How did you know to come?" He Zhilan asked, shivering from the cold as she wore only a formal dress on their way out of the hotel.
He Teng glanced at He Zhilan and quickly took off his coat to drape over her, frowning. "You’re already sick, why are you dressed so lightly?" He then added, "The Gu family obviously wants to sabotage you, no matter how much you explain, it’s useless. Can’t you just swallow your pride? Aren’t you suffering?"
He Zhilan nodded, her nose tingling, "It is hard, for a moment, I really wanted to lose my temper and curse in front of all those reporters, but Lin Chan held back her anger, so I did not dare to lose my cool."
As she spoke, tears fell uncontrollably from He Zhilan’s eyes. "The Gu family..." she bit her lip, "we are not on the same path, I hate them to death!"
Then, He Zhilan jumped into He Teng’s arms. Her emotions, held to the limit, collapsed in an instant when He Teng appeared out of the blue and pulled her from the crowd.
