Hashirama agreed to Kamihane's demand, stepping calmly to his side.
"A warning," Kamihane's gaze swept over Tobirama and the assembled Kage, "my sensory abilities rival yours. Attack me recklessly, and your precious granddaughter pays the price."
His eyes lingered on Tobirama. "If any fools try to ... I promise your villages will burn brighter than Konoha tonight."
"Damn brat..." Tobirama's jaw clenched, eyes blazing with murderous intent.
With a hand on Hashirama's shoulder, Kamihane activated the Flying Thunder God Technique, vanishing instantly.
"Send word to the Cat's Den! Have the Uchiha lead a team there—now!" Tobirama barked at his ANBU, face stormy.
After steadying his rage, he turned to the remaining Kage. "Care to join me in confronting this pest's true form?"
Gengetsu scratched his neck awkwardly. "We're here for a celebration. With the guest of honor gone, this party's over."
He met Tobirama's glare unflinching. "That lunatic vowed retaliation. I'm not suicidal enough to chase him."
"Agreed," the Second Tsuchikage grunted. "We came to toast, not feud."
Retto stroked his beard. "Sand has no quarrel with that madman."
The Raikage crossed his arms. "This is Konoha's mess. Cloud stays neutral."
"You—!" Tobirama seethed. "He's Madara's heir! Do you think he'll spare your nations once Konoha falls?"
Gengetsu turned toward the gates. "Mist suddenly has urgent business. Farewell."
Like dominos, the Kage departed—leaving Tobirama alone before the Uzumaki shrine, fists trembling.
Land of Waterfalls, Northern Coast
Through successive teleportations, Kamihane and Hashirama arrived at a windswept shore.
"The Flying Thunder God Technique... impressive," Kamihane's spirit mused within Kagami's mindscape. He'd tried prying the secret from the Uchiha's soul earlier, only to find Tobirama's encryption blocking all critical intel. Even his attempts to steal Steam Release, Dust Release, and Lightning Armor from other Kage had failed—proof of this era's strict "intellectual property" safeguards.
"Is your true body here?" Hashirama scanned the coast.
Kamihane smirked. His spirit withdrew from Kagami's forehead, leaving the Uchiha crumpling limply.
Hashirama caught him, settling the dazed youth on a rock.
"L-Lord Hashirama...?" Kagami blinked weakly.
"Rest. Then leave," Hashirama ordered.
Memories flooded Kagami—Kamihane's possession, the kidnapping, the taunts.
"He used my face... my body... to do such unforgivable things..." Kagami trembled, Sharingan flaring involuntarily. Tears streaked his cheeks. "I'm sorry! If only I'd resisted... if I'd known him better...!"
Suddenly, he grabbed Hashirama's sleeve. "The princess! She's in a coastal gambling den in Hot Springs Country! We can save her!"
Hashirama gazed at the churning sea. "Retrieve her. That's your mission now."
"My battle lies here."
The ocean roared. A vortex erupted, spawning a kilometer-high waterspout. Amid the maelstrom, a figure emerged—Kamihane, walking on air as water coalesced into steps beneath him.
Raindrops slid down his porcelain features. His crimson eyes glowed like bloody moons, devoid of mercy.
Hashirama stood firm against the typhoon, robes whipping violently.
Two legends locked gazes across the storm—one a leaf in the tempest, the other its architect.
