Dad, Ding Jianjun, has been incredibly busy these recent days.
He has taken charge of the electrical and plumbing work for twelve newly constructed apartment dormitory buildings with his team.
Of course, such a vast project can’t be entirely handled by the school’s electric and water maintenance staff, hence the need for a specialized team, yet my dad still had to take on part of the work.
"Dad, do you think we can complete the utilities for our dorm buildings on time?" Ding Yue asked his father, Ding Jianjun, as soon as he saw him.
"Of course we can! Haven’t you noticed how busy I’ve been recently? Everyone is working hard, and we will complete all the electrical and plumbing work on time, without fail, while ensuring quality."
Ding Jianjun responded confidently.
"Alright, Dad, get a few workers, find a good angle, and let’s shoot a short video."
Ding Yue called over his father, Ding Jianjun.
Since they’re already there, it would be a waste not to shoot some footage for a recruitment video.
Filming a video of my dad and his electrical and plumbing team at work could showcase the accommodation environment that the school has specially built for new students in the recruitment video.
After the outdoor shoot, Ding Yue was prepared to take the film crew inside the apartment for more filming.
Meanwhile, the school’s logistics staff was busy moving beds and other dormitory supplies to the building.
Above the newly built dormitory building, a drone had already risen to the sky, capturing high-angle shots. A few students from a drone expert class operated the drone proficiently not far away.
"Principal Ding, Director Huang."
One of the logistics department’s managers greeted Principal Ding and Director Huang who were with Ding Yue, saluting them.
"Do we have any furnished apartments ready?" Ding Yue asked the manager.
"Some rooms in this building have already been set up. Principal Ding, Director Huang, let me show you."
The manager hastily nodded and replied.
Then Ding Yue had the manager lead himself, Huang, and the filming crew upstairs.
The elevators were already installed.
However, the elevator area was still cordoned off with plywood, mainly to prevent the elevator from being dirtied or damaged during the transportation of various goods. After all the goods have been transported upstairs, all they needed to do was remove these and clean up a bit to have a brand new elevator area.
"Are all the types of rooms in the apartment building, all thoroughly decorated and equipped with basic living facilities?"
Ding Yue resumed his questioning to the manager.
For a recruitment video shoot, an excellent accommodation environment like a high-rise apartment building that boasts single rooms, two-bedroom apartments, and even three-bedroom apartments, would definitely need to be filmed.
"Yes, yes, all types of rooms on the top floors have been fully decorated." The head replied.
Soon after, Ding Yue arrived at the top of the apartment building.
It was clear that there were significant differences between the top and the ground floor.
The porcelain tiles here were sparkling clean, showing that the interior construction was basically completed, and the floor was also much cleaner.
Unlike the ground floor, which was filled with all sorts of goods and materials.
However, as planned, all of this should be completed before the end of August.
"Principal Ding, let’s check out the largest three-bedroom apartment first." The manager led Ding Yue to the door of a three-bedroom apartment, which was left open.
There were people inside the room using some equipment to do something.
Ding Yue was curious and asked.
"Principal Ding, we are measuring the formaldehyde content in the room. Only when it meets the standard can students move in. All the materials used for decoration are environmentally friendly."
