As a sophomore-to-be at Mist City Arts and Science University, let me give you an answer. The university is incredible, first of all, its environment is way better than typical private colleges. I was unluckily unsuccessful in the College Entrance Examination last year, but luckily, I entered the newly established Mist City Arts and Science University, and over the past year, I learned quite a lot in the major I love.
This is about studying, you can really learn what you’re interested in, and even enhance your practical abilities. After attending Mist City Arts and Science University, I feel that my academic abilities have increased significantly, maybe it’s due to its study atmosphere, after all, everyone here isn’t lacking in intelligence, right?
Now, let’s talk about life, what you must be most interested in are the dormitories. Honestly speaking, you freshmen are way more fortunate than us seniors.
Because we seniors live in the old dormitory, although it’s old, the environment is quite decent. Here are a few selfies of our dormitory for you to see - [dorm picture.jpg] x12.
The dormitory is fully equipped and there are six-people rooms, four-people rooms, two-people rooms, and even single rooms, with different prices, you guys surely understand this because this is a private university after all.
The key point is, those with money can truly enjoy their college life at our school because we have apartment buildings too!

See that, they are 32 or 33 stories high buildings, having suites in them, living with your girlfriend would be absolutely amazing, right? A world of just a senior and a junior, hehehe!
This is just the old dormitory for us sophomores. If you are a freshman, you’re extremely lucky. Because the university has built new dormitories exclusively for freshmen. Here are some pictures I took when I visited there a few days ago - [new dormitory.jpg]. I feel so jealous, but it’s fine! We seniors understand that new students need to be taken care of and accommodated in the new dorms.
These are living conditions, compared to other colleges, I don’t have to explain more, right?
There is something else too, at Mist City Arts and Science University, you can freely choose who you want to share the dorm with. Meaning once you start school, you can live with students you know or get along with well.
Yes, the school supports swapping dorm rooms, you can even swap across different majors, of course, swapping across genders isn’t allowed, hahaha!
Ever since this policy was implemented, there have hardly been any disputes or conflicts in the dorms at Mist City Arts and Science University. Mostly because everyone is living with friends they get along with.
Now moving on to food, which I’m sure you’re curious about.
Our Mist City Arts and Science University is located in the University Town of Mist City, although it’s on the edge of the town, it might not be ideally located, but because of this, its environment is quite good. Ordering food deliveries is also not a problem, the school supports students who want to order food deliveries.
But here is the thing!
I assure you, once you’re at Mist City Arts and Science University, you wouldn’t think of ordering food deliveries anymore, instead, you’d definitely go to the cafeteria. Because the food there is delicious and very affordable. Have you ever seen a full bowl of spicy crayfish for just 9.9 yuan?

Did you get surprised? Thus, if you are not proactive with going to the cafeteria, it’s very likely that you’d end up having no choice but to order from outside - which is not as tasty, and is more expensive.
Even our school district principal of the Mist City Educational Bureau, Mr. Xiao Wenxing, is a big fan of the food in our cafeteria!
Besides the two cafeterias, there are also many small restaurants, the food in these little places tastes really good too, their price is slightly higher than the cafeterias though.
Here comes the best part about the food. I assume many of you guys coming to Mist City Arts and Science University are from all around the country.
So, once you’re in Mist City, you would have no choice but to try the Mist City hot pot! Come on! Shout it out loud! Where is the most popular hot pot in Mist City?
Yes! It’s on the third floor of our second cafeteria at Mist City Arts and Science University, in a restaurant called University Theme Hot Pot Shop. Which is so popular, it’s almost visited every day by tourists. This shop is truly a glorious attraction!
I’ve eaten at the University Theme Hot Pot Shop on the third floor of our second cafeteria three times. The flavors are incredibly delicious. I’ve also tried hot pot at other places in town but, in comparison, the best one is definitely ours.
I’ve pretty much covered the living and learning environment. Now let’s talk about the strength of our school.
In terms of teaching strength, it can’t quite compare to top national universities, after all, our Mist City Arts and Science University is still very young.
Among private universities, Mist City Arts and Science University is one of the best. The school has earned quite a few honors and accomplishments within its departments over the past year. I’m from the mechanical engineering department, does the robot Big White ring a bell? Everyone ought to know it, right?
