Several months passed by in the blink of an eye and things had already begun to settle down. Alaric was also starting to get used to his imperial identity.

“Your Highness, please drink this fresh mango juice.” Elena’s voice drifted into his ears.
Alaric turned his head and smiled faintly at her. He took the glass of mango juice she had prepared and drank everything in three large gulps.
He felt refreshed and energized.
“What is my next schedule?” He asked as he handed the empty glass back to her.
This time, Henry who was standing next to Elena responded. “You have a meeting with the northern lords this afternoon in Vale, Your Highness.”
Hearing this, Alaric nodded. “Prepare my carriage. We will head to Vale in an hour.”
Henry acknowledged his command with a bow. “Your servant obeys!”
After relaying his instructions, Alaric took off his training gear and headed to the main mansion for a quick bath.
Elena quietly followed behind him.
Along the way, they encountered a bunch of servants and guards who enthusiastically greeted him.
“Greetings, Your Highness!”
Alaric still found his new title a bit awkward, but it began to sound natural as the days went by.

Inside, a pair of naked female servants helped him undress. Both were gorgeous young women at the prime of their youth. They had been specifically chosen by Hershey to help her husband with his daily needs.
At first, Alaric was averse to the idea, but he soon relented under Hershey’s insistence.
According to her, a prince should take care of his image so it was necessary for him to have servants at his side.
Looking at the young women before him, Alaric could only sigh with a complicated expression on his face.
“Is there something wrong, Your Highness?” One of the young women asked, looking at him with concern.
The other one didn’t say anything, but she also stared at him, waiting to hear his response.
At her query, Alaric shook his head with a light smile. “It’s nothing.”
He then jumped into the pool and submerged himself in the water to cool off his muscles and nerves.
The two female servants followed him. One kneaded his back, while the other applied soap to his chest.
Is it a sin to enjoy this life of luxury?

“It’s me.” Hershey’s voice echoed from behind the door.
Hearing this, Alaric paused for a moment and said. “Come in. The door isn’t locked.”
Hershey stepped inside the room, smiling as she approached him.
“I heard that you are heading to Vale to meet the northern lords. Do you want me to accompany you there?”
She noticed a few creases on his clothes so she helped him smooth them over.
Alaric grabbed her soft hand and gave it a kiss.
“Of course. Otherwise, those cunning old men might dupe your husband.” He replied jokingly.
Hershey giggled at his words. “Then I will come with you.”
The two exchanged sweet nothings before they headed out of the mansion.
In front of the main door, their carriage has already been prepared. Henry had also arranged a team of skilled warriors to escort them.
“Your Highness, everything has been prepared. Are we setting off now?” Henry inquired with a respectful look.
Alaric didn’t respond right away. He observed the team that would escort them and inspected them one by one.
They were the first batch of warriors who had undergone rigorous training. A year had passed since they began their training and all of them had already become Knight Apprentices. A few of them even showed signs of advancing to the Knight realm!
This kind of breakthrough speed was only possible because of the overflowing resources they had taken.
The one who showed the fastest growth was Wolf, the young boy he had met in Mount Tegere when he visited the tombs of the fallen warriors.
He displayed his overwhelming potential and quickly surpassed his peers, rising like the stars in the sky.
Other than him, Renante, Rasmus, and Aliya also showed great talent.
He knew that these young warriors would soon become cornerstone figures of House Silversword!
With a calm look, Alaric said. “Let’s go!”
