"Lady of the Moon, please have a seat, and don’t forget your tea." Malin smiled, wrapping the teacup with Spiritual Energy and sending it toward the lady.
Rosaline did not recognize her, but she did recognize the insignia on her chest.
In the entire wizard community, only the Scarlet Lady, Elizabeth Dor Windsor, the Duchess, had such a distinguished presence.
"Lady of the Moon, it’s been a long time," the High Tower addressed her with his greeting.
"Indeed, it has been a while, High Tower with the pointed ears," the lady said with a smile as she lifted her teacup as though it were a wine glass.
Then she was amused by her own habitual gesture, and High Tower also lifted his cup.
Rosaline watched the interaction between the two Excellencies—the High Tower with the pointed ears, which meant that apart from this High Tower, there was another, but not an elf.
"There should be no one else left," Malin exclaimed, not addressing the gathering but speaking to Lady Dorothy.
And Lady Dorothy, while brewing tea, shook her mechanical head: "There are two more."
While saying this, Rosaline heard footsteps; she had been sitting sideways, so she did not need to twist her neck to see a black-haired, golden-eyed girl who looked completely unlike any humans she knew appear at the entrance.
The girl was wearing an unusual wizard robe—without the loose sleeves, her beautiful arms like porcelain sculptures full of wizard tattoos, stone bracelets on her wrists, and the lower part of her wizard robe turned into fitting trouser legs.
Hmm... an unexpected alteration, but if this young lady were a Martial Monk, Rosaline would think it completely justified.
"Welcome, miss hermit from the Eastern human world," Lady Dorothy greeted her.
She glanced at those present: "High Tower of Eternal Night Island, good afternoon, and oldest Mister Fate, good afternoon."
Indeed, she recognized the two, and they responded to her greetings with smiles.
Then she turned her head to Malin: "Star Observer, good afternoon."
"Power, Your Excellency, is known to everyone in the world of wizards, and my father has close ties with him, so I came to know of your name," said Miss Thainan, who, though young, spoke the common language very well.
After speaking, she began to walk around the long table, seemingly preparing to sit opposite Rosaline.
"Dear hermit, I am Tim. Would you agree to dine with me after this meeting?" It seemed that the young Miss Thainan, who called herself a hermit, was acquainted with not just the two Excellencies; Mister Tim also knew her, but the young lady paid him no mind.
Or rather, she dismissed him with the power of her words.
"I would not fall in love with a man so old that he needs medicine to maintain quality of life," she said before bumping fists with Miss Christian in a very friendly manner, then patted the sorrowful Mister Tim’s head: "But your new shell is quite nice, did you make it yourself?"
"Of course, I am not a Dark Wizard," Mister Tim said with a sniff: "You see, this is the power of Alchemy, this is how I looked in my youth."
"That means you have been ugly for a very long time, Mister Tim." After saying this, the hermit Miss sat opposite Rosaline, smiled at her and asked: "Newcomer?"
"Teresa, you look quite young. Miss? Ma’am?" the hermit Miss inquired curiously.
"Mrs. Teresa, I have a husband." Rosaline’s heart swelled with joy at the mention of John, her delight in being able to resume life with her beloved was beyond what she had dared to hope for before that day.
"Nice to meet you, madam, quite a few people are here today," the hermit Miss remarked before looking at Rosaline’s companion, Miss Temperance: "Temperance, it’s odd that you’re facing away from me, it took me a moment to realize it was you. What’s wrong, you seem unhappy."
"I am acquainted with Star Observer," Miss Temperance said, pursing her lips.
"Honestly, it’s been a while since I’ve seen you make such a long face, but you say you know Star Observer, and that makes me very curious about your identity," the hermit Miss turned to Malin: "Star Observer, who is she to you?"
"Clerk, my clerk. I never imagined that my little clerk would also be a member of a wizard gathering, and that is a very surprising fact." The one in her eyes referred to as Star Observer said this as he turned his attention to the hallway: "Our last member has arrived."
Rosaline looked at the hallway and after two seconds, she heard footsteps.
Malin’s perception far exceeded her own; this discovery wasn’t much of a surprise to Rosaline—it was all too normal. Malin was a powerful Psychic and High-Order Mage, and if he hadn’t been more perceptive than Rosaline, she would have thought there was something wrong with the world.
The existence of the strong embodies the will of the world.
The world of wizards, after all, is the domain of seekers united in worship of Mother Mana, not the will of Chaos.
Finally, a half-human appeared at the entrance, surveyed the surroundings, confirmed his destination, and then strode quickly towards Malin. Eventually, he knelt on one knee before Malin, extended his hand, took hold of Malin’s hand, and kissed the ring on his finger: "I pay my respects to you, the one revered by us half-humans."
