Malin had known for a long time that his loved ones could have different fates in different timelines, so upon hearing about Clovis’s fate, he took an indifferent attitude—as after all, it was another timeline. Malin wasn’t a Deity like the Lord of Justice; besides, the Lord of Justice might save the world in some timelines but could also fail in others.
