"Really?" Tian Xingyun’s eyes widened with joy. The old grandma’s predictions were usually spot on.
If she said it was a girl, then there was an eighty percent chance it was a girl.
"It looks like it to me." The old grandma nodded.
"A daughter would be great, I really like that." Tian Xingyun laughed cheerfully. If it was a daughter, the Huo Family wouldn’t fight her for custody.
She could take the child and leave, and it wouldn’t affect him and Song Yi.
"You old woman, you’re talking nonsense again." The old grandpa said sternly.
"How am I talking nonsense?" The old grandma was displeased.
What followed was the sound of the two elderly people bickering.
Tian Xingyun pouted and smiled, leaning against the fence of the ox cart, feeling a bit sleepy.
She had gotten up quite early this morning, so sitting here now made her very drowsy.
Huo Shaohua moved next to her and said, "Lean on me, that fence isn’t stable."
The ox cart was bumpy and indeed looked quite dangerous, fearing she might suddenly fall off.

She immediately went upstairs to find clothes for Huo Shaohua to change into, as his pants were dirty.
Huo Shaohua was relaxing in the courtyard; the rural air was indeed fresher than in the city.

"Tian Xingyun, are you home!" A woman’s shrill voice, coupled with the sound of high heels.
"No, I’m not!" Tian Xingyun shouted in response.
"I knew you were home, hmph." As the voice came closer, the door was pushed open, and in walked a woman with a charming smile, wearing a short skirt and high heels.
"You’re just jealous that I’m getting prettier!" The woman smiled seductively at Xingyun, showing off her S-shaped figure on purpose.
"Rose Hua, you’re getting uglier."
"Oh, I know you’re jealous of my beauty." Rose Hua smirked, raising a hand to tousle her shoulder-length hair.
She sashayed over in her high heels and sat down next to Tian Xingyun.
"How much perfume did you use?" Tian Xingyun pinched her nose, turning away to maintain distance from her.
"I heard you became Huo Shaohua’s mistress? Looks like it’s true, your belly is so big now." Rose Hua stared at Tian Xingyun’s stomach.
"I’m his wife, not a mistress!" Tian Xingyun emphasized loudly, keeping her composure despite feeling hurt inside.
