Huo Shaohua glanced at Tian Xingyun and let out a sarcastic snort.
He just thought she was playing hard to get.
She had already achieved her wish to marry him, yet she was still dreaming like a fool, wanting everyone to know about their relationship.
As he walked to the garage, ready to drive to the office, he found that his car was gone!
Suddenly, he recalled that Andy had taken the car keys; the car must have been driven away by Andy.
He cursed under his breath, feeling speechless. How was he supposed to get to the office now?
Walking out of the garage, he saw Tian Xingyun, who was about to leave.
Tian Xingyun turned to look at Huo Shaohua, wondering what else he wanted to say.
Huo Shaohua walked over to Tian Xingyun and glanced at her electric scooter.
Coolly and in a soft voice, he said, "Lend me your vehicle."
"What?" Tian Xingyun was surprised, thinking she had misheard.
"Lend me your vehicle!" Huo Shaohua said unhappily. Was she doing this on purpose?
Tian Xingyun blinked at him, having a hard time believing what she had heard.
Doesn’t he have a car? Why would he want to borrow her electric scooter?
Minutes later, Tian Xingyun was riding the scooter with Huo Shaohua sitting behind her, leaving the villa together.
Huo Shaohua was wearing Tian Xingyun’s cute helmet, which had a Chibi Maruko Chan sticker on it.
Initially, he had refused, but considering the consequences, he eventually wore it!
He couldn’t let others see him riding an electric scooter, and especially with a woman.
"Why is this scooter so low?" Huo Shaohua’s face went dark. His legs were bent, yet they were still touching the ground.
"You can put your feet on the scooter; it’s just that your legs are too long." Tian Xingyun replied. At her height of 1.6 meters, the scooter felt just right.
Huo Shaohua, being at least around 1.8 meters tall, certainly felt that the scooter was too low.
Following Tian Xingyun’s advice, Huo Shaohua put his feet on the scooter, feeling much more comfortable.
"Why is it so slow!" Huo Shaohua complained. At this speed, he would be late getting to the office.
"It’s an electric scooter with only two wheels!" Tian Xingyun replied indignantly. She was already being kind enough to let him ride.
And he’s still complaining? If he had the guts, he should not ride it then.
"This is the fastest it can go."
Just as they entered the city area, the scooter suddenly stopped and wouldn’t move.
"Why isn’t it moving?" Huo Shaohua asked.
"It ran out of power!" She had forgotten to charge it last night, and shuttling back and forth to his villa had drained the battery.
Huo Shaohua was furious; today was truly a bad day.
Actually, it should be said that encountering Tian Xingyun was bad luck from the start.
After getting off the scooter, he took off the helmet and shoved it back to Tian Xingyun, then walked away to hail a cab.
They were already in the city, so he could catch a cab to the office.
No need to suffer on that lousy scooter. He got into a taxi and immediately left.
"Such a jerk!" Tian Xingyun cursed. What a heartless guy.
Leaving her here and taking a cab himself.
Tian Xingyun sighed; he had always disliked her, so how could he possibly care about her?
Now, she could only push the scooter herself.
When Huo Shaohua arrived at the office, he saw Andy and instantly got furious.
He slammed a file into Andy’s face: "You took the car. Couldn’t you arrange for a company driver to pick me up?"
"President Huo, I thought you..." Andy said with a silly smile, holding the file without getting angry.
He thought President Huo wanted to spend time with that woman, so he took the car without informing the company driver.
"Who would want to be with her? If you make decisions without authorization again, you won’t get to take your annual leave!" Huo Shaohua shouted, feeling miserable enough being with her.
"President Huo, you can’t treat me like that." Andy instantly put on a pitiful look.
Not getting his annual leave, how was that possible!
