Tian Xingyun walked quickly to the restaurant, catching a glimpse of Hu Yuxi still following behind her.
She sighed and rolled her eyes. Why was he still following her?
"Xingyun, wait for me," Hu Yuxi jogged to catch up.
This woman really walked fast.
"Why are you following me?" Tian Xingyun stopped, frowning at him.
"Let’s eat together," Hu Yuxi propped his hand against the wall, blocking her path.
"I don’t want to eat with you," Tian Xingyun said bluntly.
"You’re hurting my feelings," Hu Yuxi clutched his chest, pretending to look very sad.
"Are we that familiar?" Tian Xingyun shot him a sideways glance.
"Then let’s start getting familiar with each other now," Hu Yuxi raised his eyebrows flirtatiously, slowly approaching Tian Xingyun.
Tian Xingyun frowned and backed away, trying to keep a distance.
Hu Yuxi inched closer to her, finding her tense expression incredibly cute.
How long had it been since he’d seen such a shy woman? A long time, indeed.
"What do you want?" Tian Xingyun’s defensive eyes, her hand clenched into a fist behind her back.
If he dared to come any closer, she wouldn’t hold back!
"What do you think?" Hu Yuxi smiled and scanned her body from top to bottom.
Tian Xingyun’s furious eyes, her fist aimed at his abdomen.
"Shameless!" Tian Xingyun kicked his knee lightly, then quickly walked away.
Her heart was pounding; she had to leave quickly.
Otherwise, if he caught her, she’d be doomed.
Hu Yuxi clutched his stomach, watching Tian Xingyun walk away with a wry smile.

He didn’t chase after her because his stomach hurt.
Tian Xingyun hurried to the stairs, only looking behind her and not watching the path ahead.

"Tian Xingyun, can’t you watch where you’re going?" Huo Shaohua growled, gripping her arm tightly.

"I hoped it would be you, and it really came true." Tian Xingyun smiled happily, feeling less afraid with him around.
Huo Shaohua let go of her arm, his tone displeased: "What are you doing here?"
This place was no place for her to come.
"I came to eat," Tian Xingyun blurted out, not wanting Huo Shaohua to know what had happened earlier.
"You came here to eat?" Huo Shaohua’s lips curled in mockery, pointing at the sign on the wall.
"..." Tian Xingyun swallowed and was at a loss for words.
The sign indicated it was an entertainment venue.
Obviously, there was no food here; how did she end up here?
She had been too focused on running away and forgot the route...
"What are you doing here? Could it be...?" Tian Xingyun frowned, trying to shift the topic.
"Are you here picking up girls?" Tian Xingyun blinked and asked.
He was supposed to be in Paris, but suddenly he came back.
After returning, his mood was distinctly bad, likely because of a fight with Song Yi.
Now he was here, further proving there was a conflict with Song Yi.
"What, you want to control me?" Huo Shaohua didn’t answer but asked instead, his lips curling.
"I don’t want to control you, I’m just worried you’re looking for another stepmother for your daughter," Tian Xingyun said sourly.
