Tian Xingyun’s heart suddenly filled with joy. Her first thought was that Huo Shaohua had returned.
But when she turned around, she was shocked to see it was Hu Yuxi.
"Hitting people in a place , have you thought about the consequences?" Hu Yuxi raised an eyebrow and smiled, disdainfully shaking off the woman’s hand.
"Who are you? How dare you meddle in my affairs." The woman said angrily.
"You’re not qualified to ask who I am."
"You!" The woman’s face turned ugly.
Hu Yuxi stepped forward and shielded Tian Xingyun behind him, asking gently, "Are you okay?"
"I’m fine, thank you." Tian Xingyun smiled and thanked him, but deep down she felt a bit disappointed.
How could she have thought it was Huo Shaohua? It was really laughable.
He hated her so much, he would be thrilled to see her being bullied.
How could he possibly help her?
Besides, he was currently on the phone with Song Yi, completely forgetting her existence.
"You must be Young Master Xi?" The fat man approached flatteringly.
"Who are you?" Hu Yuxi frowned, not recognizing this greasy, sleazy uncle.
"Darling, didn’t you see them bullying me?" The woman got anxious and tugged on the fat man’s hand, acting cute.
"Stop fooling around!" The fat man got angry. He finally got to meet Hu Yuxi and had to seize this opportunity.
If only he could get acquainted with Hu Yuxi, his company would reach new heights.
"You’re being mean to me..." The woman started crying, looking pitiful.
Tian Xingyun smiled helplessly and turned to leave. She didn’t want to stay here and cause more trouble.
"Wait for me." Hu Yuxi immediately followed Tian Xingyun. It was hard enough to run into her.
He couldn’t let her get away this time; he had to get her phone number.
"Young Master Xi." The fat man pursued Hu Yuxi.
"Stop right there!" The woman got angry and grabbed the fat man, not letting him leave.
She was absolutely furious; what was so good about that woman?
All these men were chasing after her.
The man earlier was so handsome and actually knew that woman and cared about her.
She had underestimated that woman’s capabilities. Though she seemed simple, she was actually more capable than anyone.
"Stop this nonsense!" The fat man shook off the woman and jogged after Hu Yuxi.
By the time he ran out of the restaurant, Hu Yuxi was already out of sight.
He was very angry, blaming that wretched woman. If it weren’t for her holding him back.
He would have already made contact with Hu Yuxi. What an incompetent woman.
He would definitely sort her out when he got back.
Hu Yuxi walked beside Tian Xingyun, staring at her the entire time.
Tian Xingyun felt uncomfortable under his gaze. She stopped and looked at him, asking, "Why are you following me?"
"I just helped you, and I haven’t heard you say thank you yet." Hu Yuxi smiled happily, really glad to see her again.
"Thank you for helping me earlier." Tian Xingyun smiled faintly and thanked him before continuing to walk.
Hu Yuxi blocked her path again, somewhat unhappy, and said, "Why did you lie to me?"
"Yes, you’re not really a cruise staff member." Hu Yuxi said unhappily. He had checked all the staff on the cruise.
There was no one named Tian Xingyun, not even someone who looked like her.
"I’m just a temporary worker, not a permanent staff member."
"Still trying to lie to me! I’ve checked everyone, including the cleaners."
"..." Tian Xingyun was speechless. Why did he investigate her?
"What exactly do you do?" Hu Yuxi squinted his eyes.
"I’m on my honeymoon, with my husband." Tian Xingyun smiled.
She and Huo Shaohua had just gotten married and were out having fun, a sort of honeymoon.
This reason should be enough to brush off Hu Yuxi, making him give up on her.
