Before, at the courtyard, she kept persuading him to help Liu Dagang.

"You got my new clothes dirty, go wash them now!"
"Got it, I’ll wash them in a bit."
"You’ve been acting strange lately, have you gotten into trouble outside again?" His sister-in-law scrutinized the crouching Tian Ernan; he hadn’t been up to his usual mischief recently.
It was very strange, highly unusual!
Tian Ernan struggled to crawl out from under the cabinet, a grin appearing as he got fresh air: "It feels so good, I almost suffocated."
"Tell me, what are you up to?" His sister-in-law smacked him on the head.
"Nothing at all. I’m heading out for a bit." He stood up and ran out.
He vividly remembered taking some photos with his phone on the cruise earlier.
But now he had no idea where that phone was.
"Tian Ernan, don’t bother coming back!" His sister-in-law fumed, throwing the clothes on the floor.
He had just promised to wash her clothes, and now he bolted out.
By the time Huo Shaohua returned from his run, it was already dark. As he walked into the living room, Tian Xingyun was watching TV.
"You’re back..." She didn’t finish her sentence before the whole house went black.
"Boom~" Thunder roared outside, lightning flashed through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
"Huo Shaohua, is it a power outage?!" Tian Xingyun stood up in fear, forgetting to put on her shoes.
"It could be. I’ll go check outside." Huo Shaohua used his phone to light the way.
"Wait for me." Tian Xingyun bit her lip in fear, trembling from the lightning outside.
