###Chapter 565 Sweet Start - Part 1
I was surprised and looked up at him, a little confused.
Seeing him stretch out his hand and pulled me, he gently removed the clothes on my wrist. Seeing the scratches, he frowned and said, "You didn't give it back?"
I nodded. "I did, but my nails were cut a few days ago, so it didn't hurt as much as hers does. So, I just pulled her hair a few times."
He looked at me with a bit of hate on his face and said, "You can't use your fists and feet without fingernails."
I smiled and looked at him and said, "I'm not a man. I use my hands and feet when I fight. Actually, it's okay. Linda spilled water all over her, and we had nothing to lose."
He looked at me, somewhat disgusted, "You two fought just one person, yet you ended up getting hurt too? If Linda hadn't splashed water on her and she wasn't around, were you going to end up getting disfigured?"
I had nothing to say. I bowed my head like a child and whispered, "I wouldn't dare fight her without Linda. I can't beat her if she's so fierce. I won't do it!"
He snorted coldly, ignored me, and turned to leave.
I followed him, and after a few steps, I squatted down and watched him go far away. I couldn't help but be happy.
He walked a few steps and when he did not hear any movement behind him, he turned around to look. His handsome eyes fell on me, raised his eyebrows, and asked, "What's the matter?"
"I'm hurt. I can't walk!" I squatted on the ground, simply as if I was crippled, squatting on the ground motionless.
He furrowed his forehead and said worryingly, "Tell me directly, what should I do?"
I tilted my head for a moment and said, "Take me out!"
He laughed and looked helpless. "Are your legs hurt?"
I shook my head. "No!"
He said, "Then why am I hugging you?"
"Do you like to hug or not?" When I opened my mouth, I just got up and got ready to go.
I knew what he wanted me to say, but sometimes I just didn't want to say it.
He looked at me with a smile in his eyes, and when I passed him, he hugged me directly and acted rudely.
I was startled and called out, "Jordan Astley, you bastard!"
He snorted coldly and didn't say anything more.
When we got out of the corridor, there was a line of people standing outside, all of whom were workers from the base. For a moment, they were stunned to see me and Jordan.
Their expressions are different, and you can understand them when you think about them. Jordan and Director Kent were very close before, and everyone was preconceived, and both of them were basically assumed as a couple.
Especially when Jordan was having dinner with Dominic Cross that day, he said nothing and did not explain. Following Dominic's misunderstanding, he thought to be true the relationship of Director Kent and Jordan.
Later, after a long time, everyone automatically assumed that Jordan and Director Kent as a couple.
Now for them to see Jordan and I come out like this, I'm afraid it will lead to all kinds of unnecessary speculation.
Jordan didn't seem to notice at all. He took me directly into the office of the base and then asked me to sit in a chair.
When I saw that he was leaving, I couldn't help saying, "Jordan, where are you going?"
He looked back at me and said, "To look for medicine to put on your wound. Do you want for it to leave a scar?"
I shook my head. "Of course not!"
Seeing his slender figure coming out of the office, I lay down on the desk and rummaged through the documents sorted out by Felix.
They were all documents that have been discussed at a recent meeting, nothing important. After reading them for a while, I lost interest.
After a few minutes, Jordan came back with a medicine box in his hand.
"Where are the scratches other than the ones on the arm?" He opened his mouth and pulled up my sleeve as he spoke.
I shook my head. Wounds are not that serious in a girl's fight. Even if I got a scratch from it, it would be over in a minute.
In fact, it was not a big deal at all. He's just too nervous.
I saw him bow his head and seriously took care of the wound for me, and his movements were meticulous and gentle.
I could not help but be a little distracted.
He looked up at me coldly and looked at each other. I was in a hurry to avoid it. I looked at him in a daze and said, "What's the matter?"
He raised his eyebrows and said, "Answer the phone!"
I was stupefied, and I didn't know why "What?"
"Phone!"
He opened his mouth and packed the medicine box.
I finally realized, that my cell phone rang and I was hastened to answer the phone. It was Grace.
As soon as I answered her call, she blew up. "Sister, what are you doing? Why haven't you answered the phone?"
I was a little embarrassed and said in hindsight, "Well, what happened just now? Have you arrived yet?"
She said in the morning that she would come to the base and have dinner with Grandpa Cross in the evening.
"I arrived a long time ago. I'm in front of the hotel. I've never been to your base. I don't know where the exact location is. Why don't you get someone to pick me up!"
I can't help but look at Jordan. Felix seemed to have gone to deal with Director Kent. Linda may have gone to mind her own business, and William may still be working on the theft of the base.
So, it seems that I was not the busiest at the moment.
Seeing me staring at him, Jordan asked, "What's the matter?"
"Grace is coming, could you pick her up?" I didn't know if he was all right with that, so I could only ask.
He said, "At the hotel?"
I nodded.
After he answered, there was no more. I was a little confused, but I thought he should deal with it, so I didn't go on.
It was not a big deal. When I came out of the office, I went to the base of the Science and Technology Museum with him.
After waiting for a while in science and technology, Felix saw him come forward and said, "Boss Astley, there are documents from Boss Hastings. Please take a look at it!"
Jordan nodded, took the document from his hand. He glanced at the Science and Technology Museum and said, "How are things going?"
Felix said, "I've got something. The perpetrator is being picked up outside. It doesn't look like a repeat offender. It's a bit complicated, but I'm not quite sure yet!"
Jordan frowned slightly, nodded, took the document, and went to the rest area outside the base to have a look.
I found Linda, and she was fine. When she saw me, she was shocked. "You guys didn't fight?"
It was obvious she was referring to me and Jordan. I nodded. "He just told me not to hurt myself in the next fight!"
She was stupefied, but suddenly smiled, looked at me, and said, "It is worthy of a big president, spoiling his wife has no bottom line."
Seeing Director Kent has changed her clothes and came out. A pair of beautiful eyes looked at us angrily as if she wanted to eat us.
Linda was not afraid, looked at the past provocatively, increased the volume, "I really think good-looking will be popular, this person still depends on the temperament and inner self-cultivation, otherwise it is useless to have a good pair of skin."
I raised my hand and pulled Linda's clothes and whispered, "All right, stop talking. Grace is here. Jordan has sent someone to pick her up. Is there still much work here? We took care of it and made an appointment to have dinner with Grandpa Cross in the evening."
