Stop Hypnotizing Me, Villainous Princess! Chapter 464

If I fell on these sharp stone projections, I’d probably be dead by now.

"Damn, where the hell is this place, anyway?"

Lynn racked his brains but couldn’t relate any place from the original novel to this place here.

This also meant that his identity as a transmigrator wouldn’t be of any use at this moment.

What was even more alarming was that as Lynn gazed into the distance, he noticed a mass of shadows on the horizon, moving towards him, raising dust clouds that blotted out the sky.

This was definitely not a place to linger, but what concerned Lynn more was the orderly marching of those shadows, which looked nothing like wild beasts of the wilderness.

"Could they be the natives of this world?"

The speed at which those shadows advanced was incredibly fast, and Lynn quickly realized that the group of shadows had green faces and tusks, towering like iron pillars, exuding a suffocating aura of menace.

They wielded bone weapons, leaving neat tremors in the sand.

At this point, Lynn couldn’t care less; he needed to get moving quickly.

He found the group of shadows somewhat familiar, but couldn’t recall the specifics immediately; he turned to look at Hillena, who was still sitting and kneeling on the ground:

"Are you okay? Can you move?"

Hillena swept a cool gaze over him, shaking her head lightly.

"Forget it, it’s pointless to ask."

Lynn realized his brain must have been short-circuited; Hillena was clearly in a far worse state than him, and even if she could walk, she’d be caught by those shadows in minutes.

But what Hillena did next shocked Lynn.

Suddenly, Hillena furrowed her brows, struggling to bend her knees, gently hooked the heel with one hand, and slipped off those exquisite calfskin boots. Instantly, a pair of snow-white jade feet appeared in the cold wind of the desert, tinged with the faint pink of early cherry blossoms.

Lynn had to admit, these jade feet were no less alluring than Ivyst’s, possessing their own unique charm.

Perhaps it was because the air in this world was particularly muddied, Lynn could even catch a faint, refreshing scent from these jade feet, enough to interest him if not for the urgent situation.

It wasn’t that he was a pervert, but smelling such a fragrance here was like finding rain after a long drought. Nᴇw novel chapters are publɪshed on ⓝovelFire.net

"What kind of trick is she pulling..."

The jade feet were beautiful, but now was hardly the time for appreciation. Lynn coughed lightly, "Your Highness, although I’m not a proper person, I’m not a pervert either."

Hearing this, Hillena furrowed her brows even further: "Maybe take another look?"

Lynn was speechless; he didn’t expect Hillena to be so delirious in her amnesiac state.

"Really not looking."

The two bickered like children, neither willing to back down.

Lynn thought Hillena’s amnesiac state made her unbelievably childish.

Truthfully speaking, Hillena wasn’t even a friend of his; after all, she was on the opposing side of Ivyst.

But now both were stranded in this unknown place, having a human companion alongside was still pretty good.

Moreover, although Hillena had lost her memory, she possessed many powerful sealed objects which could be useful in critical moments.

In a broader sense, increasing the deviation of Hillena’s character might alter the tragic future of the people in his memory, so Lynn had no reason to abandon Hillena and run away alone.

Lynn had just pondered for a brief moment when he turned back to find his surroundings suddenly silent.

Focusing his gaze, he saw Hillena had closed her eyes at some point, her face surrounded by dense, pale red mist, her breath weak like a candle flickering in the wind, on the verge of extinguishing.

As for her exposed jade feet, they now appeared sickly bluish-white, with fine red lines spreading underneath like spider webs, as if something living was moving through her veins.

The once translucent toes now curled stiffly, emanating an aura of death.

Lynn’s pupils constricted; all those tantalizing thoughts vanished instantly. It turned out Hillena simply wanted to show him her situation in the most straightforward way.

She didn’t want to walk; she couldn’t.

"If Xiya knew this, she’d probably be pissed off."

Lynn’s lips curved into a cold smile.

It seemed the black aura of this world had some connection to himself, or rather, "destiny only asks."

Otherwise, there was no explanation for why he hadn’t been corroded by the strange red mist, while Hillena was life-threatened once being invaded.

Maybe, this wasn’t a place meant for humans.

Gazing at Hillena’s increasingly lifeless face, it was like witnessing a frost flower withering before his eyes.

The red lines like lethal glyphs inch by inch devouring her vitality.

"Damn it, even my own problems are challenging enough, taking you as a burden, escaping is still a question."

Lynn complained for a couple of sentences, reckoning that soon, the shadows would catch up.

But his own physical condition was already a mess, carrying Hillena would be straining forward with weight.

Though he indeed had reasons to flee with Hillena, his heart was ultimately discontented.

Suddenly, he reached out and squeezed the delicate jade feet firmly twice.
