Fortunately, Zhang Xiaoshan was quick to act and pulled Li Ya away just before Chu Xing’s forceful slap could land on her face.
The slap fell on a tricycle delivery van parked next to them.

Zhang Xiaoshan smiled warmly.

Although it was the first time Bai Lu had met Zhang Xiaoshan, his gaze gave her a profound sense of safety.
Zhang Xiaoshan faced Chu Xing, speaking coldly.
"Do you really think you’re the king of Wanshan County, untouchable by anyone?"
