"Crack, crack, crack..."
After a few breaths, Zhang Xiaoshan released his grip and stood up.
"There, you can try standing up."
"Already?" Startled, Jiang Man slowly got to her feet and tentatively stomped her foot, finding she truly felt no pain. She then hopped in place, and everything was back to normal.
"It’s really healed; who would’ve thought that despite being a questionable character, you have such miraculous medical skills," Jiang Man said excitedly to Zhang Xiaoshan.

Jiang Man’s whole body went soft, except for her stubborn mouth. Hearing what Zhang Xiaoshan said, she even gave him a disdainful look and pouted.
"Look at you, such a big man and yet so petty. How about this, you do a good deed through and through, help me push my car out of the ditch and I’ll definitely repay you properly."
Zhang Xiaoshan glanced at the sky.
"It’s not that I won’t help you, but I must rush to Qingshan Town to catch a ride to the county city, and I might not have enough time."
"To the county city?"
Jiang Man immediately said with excitement.
"That’s perfect, I need to go to the county city, too. You help me get my car out, and I’ll take you with me; it would work out great for both of us."
Zhang Xiaoshan heard Jiang Man say this and was also pleased.
Jiang Man’s eyes darted around.
"So, I’ll stay up here to steady the steering wheel, and you push from behind, okay?"
Without waiting for Zhang Xiaoshan to reply, Jiang Man got on the car, started it, and hit the gas hard. The car roared as the rear wheels spun fruitlessly, refusing to move.
Seeing this, Zhang Xiaoshan walked to the back of the car and pushed hard.
After his body was modified and absorbed some Qi, Zhang Xiaoshan’s full strength was at least a thousand pounds.
Soon, the car was pushed out of the ditch and was running smoothly on the road.

Jiang Man, as the senior inspector dispatched by the higher-ups to Wanshan County Health System, watched the badly flustered Zhang Xiaoshan in the rearview mirror. She seemed excited like a child and even deliberately honked the horn to taunt Zhang Xiaoshan.
As the car disappeared out of sight, Zhang Xiaoshan could only admit his bad luck and quickened his pace.
At a little past six in the evening, Zhang Xiaoshan finally arrived at Wanshan County Health Vocational School.
This was where the examination center was located, and Zhang Xiaoshan wanted to take a look at the examination hall.
The Health Vocational School had many beautiful young girls, and it was Friday, just as school let out. A stream of youthful and pretty girls walked out, leaving Zhang Xiaoshan dazzled.
"Little Shan, senior."
Suddenly, a crisp calling voice came from behind.
Zhang Xiaoshan turned around and saw a gorgeous girl in a skirt and short sleeves, with her hair loose and legs long and straight, holding a small backpack and looking at him excitedly.
Just then, with the setting sun behind her and twilight approaching, the faint halo cast upon the girl made her seem like a little fairy that had walked out of a phone conversation.
That image was almost every man’s beautiful fantasy of first love.
"Little Shan, senior, we finally meet again."
Zhang Xiaoshan was trying to recall who the pretty young girl in front of him was when she already rushed over and hugged his arm.
With the beauty in his arms, Zhang Xiaoshan instantly felt a jolt of excitement.
