Watching Mr. Collins leave with his men, Maurren felt angrier and quickly made several calls on her cell phone.
After the calls, Maurren looked nervously at Peter and said, "Peter, I didn’t take care of Clara properly." For some reason, she was now most concerned about Peter’s attitude towards her.
Peter smiled and said, "You have a lot on your plate, and besides, this has been going on for a few days. Clara never told you, so you didn’t know. Don’t blame yourself. Come on, let’s eat."
At this point, Peter turned to his sister and said, "You need to toughen up too. Weak people are easy targets!"
Clara said, "Isn’t this just an accident? It’s not a big deal."
"Peter, how is this going to be resolved? Will they retaliate against us?" Aris asked worriedly. She was clever and even though she had just stood up for Clara, she worried about possible revenge.
Maurren snorted and said, "They won’t have the chance!"
Peter laughed, "You made those calls just now because of this?"
"Exactly. Mr. Collins supported Dean Harris today. Well, he doesn’t seem to realize your influence. I made a few calls, and everyone has already stated their position. This time, both the police department and Gibson family will be thoroughly dealt with!" She was furious today, never imagining that someone would disrespect her, especially in front of Peter.
"You made those calls to get people to deal with them, right?" Peter understood, knowing that Maurren wouldn’t let this go.
Despite not saying much today, Peter was also angry at heart. Even if Maurren didn’t do anything to the Gibson family, Peter wouldn’t let them off easily.

"Peter, rest assured. As soon as everyone heard it was your issue, they immediately took action. They’ll soon take them down. Humph, it’s not difficult to get evidence against Jaiden Gibson for what he’s done. Even his father’s materials will not be hard to obtain!"

After a while of making calls, Peter looked at Maurren, speechless, and holding the now hot phone, said, "Your few calls almost seemed to have mobilized the whole country!"
Maurren smiled and said, "It’s all because of you!"
Peter nodded and said, "Let them handle it!"
At this point, Clara’s two female classmates were secretly shocked. When their parents told them to befriend Clara, they didn’t think she was much better than themselves. Now they knew that the Windsor Family, which seemed to be a rural family, had a powerful backing.
Sitting there taking a sip of tea, Elon Woods felt an unease in his heart as if disaster was about to befall him.

Elon Woods asked back, "You don’t know about the incident that happened these past two days?"
Elon pointed at Dean, not knowing what to say. He guessed that Dean had been out eating, drinking, and having fun during the past few days and hadn’t followed the news at all.
"Boss, leaders like us have a lot on our plates. Who has the time to watch the news or read newspapers? I’ve been so busy!"
"Busy, right, you’re busy!"
Elon didn’t know what to say about his trusted subordinate, and he deeply regretted letting him handle the matter. It seemed he had chosen the wrong person for the job.
However, Peter Brown still wasn’t significant enough in his eyes. In his mind, even if Peter had an impact, it would only affect a minority of people and shouldn’t reach the higher-ups.
"Peter is currently competing with Nigel Harrison in medical skills. We can set this matter aside for now. If Peter loses, it will be even easier to deal with him."
"What if he wins?" Dean asked.
Elon smirked, "There’s no chance of that happening. As far as I know, this competition is entirely manipulated by the foreigners. They’re just using Peter to discredit traditional Chinese medicine in our country while attacking their ruling party. There’s no possible way that Peter can win."
"If that’s the case, it’ll be even easier to handle."
"Yes, let’s hold our ground for now and not act hastily."
As they were talking, they suddenly heard noises outside, and the leader from their department strode in with his people.
As soon as they entered, a group of police officers charged in, and the leader gave the order to arrest both Elon and Dean.
"What are you doing?" Elon was dumbfounded and never expected such a thing to happen.
"Elon Woods, we have concrete evidence of your serious violations during your tenure. Please come with us."
It was shocking that people he had previously shared meals and pleasant interactions with now showed a stern and impartial demeanor. Elon sighed inwardly and thought that if he hadn’t provoked Peter today, this might not have happened.
"Do you have an arrest warrant?" Elon demanded loudly.
The leader slapped a piece of paper on the table, "Take a good look."
"How is this possible!" Realizing that the person behind him hadn’t warned him about this, Elon knew that even that person might be powerless.
Elon deeply regretted his actions. If he had acted decisively and arrested Dean earlier, everything would have been ironclad, and Peter wouldn’t have been able to touch him.
It was a pity that he had underestimated the situation, and the consequences were severe, just as Peter had warned.
Only then did Elon understand how terrifying Peter was. Without even speaking, the matter had been handled by others already.
At this point, Dean’s whole body went limp. He realized he had offended someone he shouldn’t have. Was that kid really just a rural farmer?
He wanted to say something but didn’t know what to say.
Elon glanced at Dean, his face full of resentment. He was implicated by this kid, and if superiors wanted to punish him, they would undoubtedly find the material to do so. What a miscarriage of justice this was!
