As soon as Peter Brown told them to fuck off, a cold look appeared in the eyes of Kit Nelson and others.
"You runt, no one here can save you now. Although we can’t kill you, we can break your legs. Let’s see who dares to speak for you then!"
Kit Nelson was filled with murderous intent at this point.
"Get him! Make him a cripple!"
Nelson bellowed at the other four.
At his shout, one of the young men pounced towards Peter.
It was clear that the five of them came prepared. They each had numerous magical treasures on them, and their defensive treasures were even top-tier. Even if Peter utilized a Teleportation Talisman, he might not hurt them.
Seeing Peter avoiding the strike, Nelson sneered. "Your Teleportation Talisman is useless. After knowing you have the talisman, I specifically prepared a Confinement Talisman. I’d love to see what tricks you have left after losing your talisman."
The young man was a foundation builder and he swung his broadsword at Peter.
Peter had just tried using a Teleportation Talisman and found that it was indeed useless. He was indeed confined.
A smirk appeared on the corner of his mouth. Peter still had plenty of tricks, but he didn’t want to reveal all his cards just yet.
With a flick of his wrist, he threw out an Elixir.
As Peter’s pill landed in the air, all five men, who were standing initially, fell down.
Nelson and the others never imagined that they would be taken down instantly. They were foundation builders!
Watching Peter approaching, the five of them couldn’t get up due to their numb limbs. They couldn’t even use their True Qi.
"Sigh, luckily I still have a few poison pills, or else I wouldn’t be able to deal with you. What should I do with you now?"
Peter walked up and stepped on Nelson’s face.
At Peter’s footstep, Nelson was completely stunned. No one had ever dared to step on him, let alone on his face. If word got out, where would his face be?
Unable to control his rage, Nelson fainted.
Peter looked at the other four. "Usually, those who provoke me end up dead. And you dared to provoke me!"

Ethan Richardson came with the group and looked conflicted as he stared at the five foundation builders on the ground.

"How dare you cripple your fellow Academy students!"
A Golden Core expert glared at Peter, his aura filled with bloodlust.
Peter showed no fear. "Esteemed guest, I don’t know how the Academy manages each Spirit Field. Can anyone enter a Spirit Field without the manager’s consent?"
At Peter’s question, the Golden Core expert’s aura diminished.
Peter continued, "I am not aware of any student. All I know is that the Spirit Field is my responsibility to maintain as assigned by the academy. When they appeared without my consent, they attacked me. If it weren’t for my poison pill, I might have been the one dead and this Spirit Field would have been ruined!"
"They are students of the academy, how could you not know?" The Golden Core expert barked.
"They are indeed in the academy’s uniform and I have seen them in the bookstore. But I don’t know if they are enemies. I never agreed to their entry into Skyreach Mountain. They are not high-ranking experts from the academy and don’t have the token that allows unrestricted entry. They not only entered without permission, but also attacked me. Should I have allowed them to kill me without resisting? Esteemed guest, does the academy not have such rules?"
"You’ve beaten them to such a state, it would suffice if you had just poisoned them till we arrive."
"I was worried they were carrying poison and might try to commit suicide. Unable to obtain any information from them, I had no choice but to quickly suppress them with my foot."
Peter appeared nonchalant throughout and held on to the rules of the academy tightly.
Hearing Peter speak in this manner, Ethan Richardson nodded slightly, "Good. I think Peter handled it very well. Skyreach Mountain is on the border between two counties and anything could happen. It’s commendable that he didn’t kill the five who attacked him out of nowhere. I think we should leave this matter to the Honorable Magistrate."
With Ethan’s words, Peter sighed in relief. He knew he had passed this hurdle. It seemed his conjecture was right; there indeed was friction between the elders and the magistrate. From now on, he was on the side of the Magistrate.
