Upon entering the treasure archive, Peter Brown gained a deeper understanding of the foundation of a sect. He hadn’t realized before how even a small sect like the River Mountain Sect had such an astonishing collection.
Robert Lee guided everyone into the archive and said, "Each magic treasure has a seal. Whichever one you choose depends on your luck. Enter inside, and the treasures will be triggered by the formation and fly in the air. Just reach out and grab the one you see fit."
Probably only Peter was unaware of this. Everyone else appeared serious, with their eyes cast toward the sky.
Will Hanson said, "Use your intuition to explore. This formation was constructed by the River Mountain Sect’s predecessors, and many of the treasures inside were placed by them."
Peter nodded slightly.
As soon as Robert Lee’s voice faded, Peter and the others were teleported into a space.
Upon entering, Peter immediately felt the power of the formation. It was a formation he couldn’t break, so it was no wonder it kept running.
It felt like a mysterious space, vast and endless. Peter even felt as if he were in the middle of the universe.
A myriad of rays of light flew by before Peter’s eyes.
Upon closer inspection, Peter realized that these rays of light were the magic treasures, propelled by the formation.
Looking around, Peter didn’t see any other people inside the space.
This formation was awesome!
Standing there, Peter condensed his Divine Sense and prepared to grab a treasure.
In fact, Peter was already a Master Refiner, and crafting a few magic treasures wouldn’t be a problem. He wasn’t too interested in the River Mountain Sect’s magic treasures. The reason he wanted to pick up a treasure from the archive was to see if there were any special treasures.
Using his Divine Sense to scrutinize each passing ray of light, Peter could clearly see the magic treasures within.
Forget it, let’s try using Immortal power!
Now, except for weapons with Immortal power, Peter really didn’t care about other weapons.
With his Immortal power activated, Peter began to investigate the archive’s formation.
Upon examination, Peter was surprised to find some intel on the other people who had entered the archive. Everyone was trying their best to explore, and some had already grabbed a treasure.
Just as Peter was about to withdraw his Immortal power, his expression suddenly became alert. Peter found that his Immortal power was actually directed toward a shuttle-like object that hadn’t flown into the air.
Peter’s Divine Sense swept toward the shuttle-like object.
Upon inspection, Peter’s expression changed. He actually discovered that the dilapidated shuttle-like item was something that required Immortal power to activate.
This was definitely not an ordinary treasure!
With this discovery, Peter immediately picked up the shuttle-like object.
The Shadowless Shuttle!
There were three ancient characters on it.
Who could have thought that such an Immortal artifact existed!
Peter was now extremely excited. Who would have known that a seemingly useless, tattered item that couldn’t even fly was actually an Immortal artifact?
Thinking about it, Peter felt relieved. After all, it required Immortal power to activate, so ordinary Cultivators couldn’t use their True Qi to do so, leaving it unrecognized.
With this newfound item, Peter lost interest in other things. After grabbing a defense shield, he left.
When Peter exited the space, he saw everyone with smiles on their faces, showing off their gains.
"Elder Wang, what did you get?" Will Hanson seemed very happy, smiling at Peter.
When Peter showed the two items, everyone burst into laughter.
Robert Lee said, "That turtle shell shield is a decent defensive magical instrument, but that Shadowless Shuttle is pretty useless."
Upon hearing this, Peter realized everyone must know about this item and asked, "Does everyone know about this Shadowless Shuttle?"
With a laugh, Corey Webster said, "Indeed, they all do. When it was first acquired, everyone in the Sect fought over it, thinking it was some incredible treasure. At the very least, the word ’shadowless’ caught everyone’s attention. But, no one ever expected it to be a broken treasure that leaked all the True Qi."
Will Hanson said, "Yes, at first, everyone thought that this treasure needed True Qi to function. So everyone infused their own True Qi into it, only to find out that it wasn’t the case. The True Qi leaked, and the item did not absorb it."
Everyone laughed at Peter after they finished speaking. One elder said, "I didn’t expect Elder Wang to fall for it as well. Only newbies try to pick up leftover treasures. Seems like Elder Wang had the same intention."
Watching everyone laugh, Peter pretended to be upset. "I really thought it was an incredible treasure! But, why would you keep it in there if everyone knows about it?"
Everyone burst into laughter again. Will Hanson said, "Was it Elder Holmes who threw it in last time?"
Feeling embarrassed, Elder Holmes laughed and said, "After I exchanged it for another treasure, I randomly threw it in there. I didn’t expect to trick Elder Wang again."
Everyone continued laughing.
Robert Lee looked seriously at Peter and said, "Rules cannot be changed. Since you’ve chosen two treasures, you cannot exchange them again. This can also be considered everyone’s fate."
Peter just laughed and said, "It doesn’t matter. My cultivation level is low. I mainly rely on you guys. It makes no difference if I have a powerful treasure."
Everyone understood Peter’s words and didn’t say anything more.
