A split second later, there was a shadow in the corner of his vision. A kick landed on his arm and pushed his arm to the head.

"What happened…" Nathan looked shocked as his pupils shifted to his left arm, which bent in a weird way. Blood covered his right vision and leaked out of his mouth and nose.

"Nathan (Summoner)!" Anubis and Jinwu, who were the nearest to him, panicked. They could sense an extraordinary threat coming from Alavenya. They wanted to help but were stopped by Alavenya's familiars.
The sharp pain struck his mind all of a sudden after his brain registered the damage done to his body.
However, the pain was the last thing to worry about. He hurriedly came out, even if it meant dragging his body out of the wall.
Alavenya hadn't taken another step after that kick. It was because she was enduring excruciating pain. Her feet felt like breaking. In fact, there might already be a crack in her bones.
