"This is the end for you, Selena. You're going to die today."
Selena's expression remained cold. "I still don't understand. For the sake of your ambition, you have cast me aside. Maybe you were actually plotting against my father."
"Huh?" Irving gritted his teeth.
Selena noticed that Irving wasn't aware of her father's incident. It appeared Irving only took advantage of the opportunity.
"Do you think I don't know the letter is fake? I know the moment I see the letter, Uncle. It must be you who is trying to kill me. All your schemes have failed, so if you let me grow even more, nothing will stop me from destroying you.

Selena chuckled. Irving was vastly different from Nathan. Instead of whining like him, Nathan chose to continue forward, no matter how hard it was.
Irving couldn't hold it back anymore.
"Enough talking. Die for me, Selena Ashton!" Irving shouted while waving his hand down.
"!!!" The assassins who had been hiding nearby heard the signal.
They clenched their weapons, ready to launch the sneak attack as planned. 'It's time to kill her.'
Even Levas took out his sword as he was planning to kill Selena personally.
However, a big black shadow suddenly emerged from underneath him.
"Huh?!" Levas was startled, looking down. He raised his sword, ready to unleash his ena to cut this shadow.
Unfortunately for him, the shadow covered his mouth and swallowed him. The shadow moved swiftly before anyone realized it, bringing him outside of their battlefield.
"Who are you?!" Levas shouted while releasing his own ena.
However, no one was around.
"!!!" Levas panicked as he instinctively jumped back as a black spike emerged from his own shadow, almost killing him. 'So fast? Who is it? Is there another assassin? Did that guy not tell me about this other assassin?'
"You're wrong. Your target is not me. It's that girl! Since we're both hired by Irving Ashton, we should work together." Levas explained, trying to gain the cooperation of this mysterious assassin.
Although both of them were having a similar power, he instinctively knew that whoever this second assassin was, this person was stronger than him.
Unfortunately for Levas, the second assassin was none other than Sonia. Of course, her target was him.
"I didn't drag away the wrong person." A female's voice echoed in his right ear.
"!!!" Levas felt chills down his spine as he instinctively swung his sword at the back.
Sonia ducked, slipped past him, and cut him on the right ribs.
"Gahhh!" Levas gritted his teeth. He managed to avoid the fatal blow earlier, but the injury was still quite severe. "You… you damned woman!"
Levas roared and charged forward, trying to kill Sonia.
Meanwhile, there was a group of five rushing toward the battlefield. Each of them was wearing a coat with a black cat embroidered on the corner of their coat.
"Remember. Our target is Selena Ashton. The mission this time is pretty dangerous, so the bonus must be a lot. Once we capture her, I'll treat you guys."
"Got it. Selena Ashton might be strong, but we're much stronger. Besides, aren't they sending their own assassins?"

Revon landed on both feet as if nothing had happened. He smirked. "Five people from the Black Cat Organization, correct? To think that you guys leave your base with such insignificant strength. At this rate, you won't be able to do anything.
"Anyway, enough chatting. It's time to kill you guys!" Revon leaped forward with a grin.
On the other hand, the moment the assassins heard their signal, the two assassins who were supposed to be the master level summoners leaped forth.
"!!!" Selena glanced to the left and right while summoning her familiars.
Sadly for her, the enemies boosted their speed at the last second, planning to kill her before her familiars were completely summoned.
However, Selena had seen this kind of attack coming from miles away. They were assassins after all. Instead of revealing themselves and talking together with Irving to pressure her, they would definitely ambush her.
That was why Selena had gripped her staff since the beginning, activating the 'Speed' so that she could react to any situation.
Right before they reached her, Selena took a deep breath before swiftly swinging her staff, flicking the dagger on the right and the short sword on the left.

"Huh?" Irving looked shocked, wondering what had happened. 'Where is Levas?'
Selena smiled. "You don't have to wait for that powerful summoner. He won't be able to help you."
Selena raised her wand, pointing it at Irving. "Today, I will kill you and liberate the Ashton family."
