"What is that?" Irving widened his eyes in shock, as he couldn't believe what he was seeing. An avatar, a full avatar brimming with energy, yet not even a bit of them escaped from the circulation.
In terms of control, this was considered a high-level technique that even he couldn't use.
"This is impossible…" Irving gritted his teeth. He might have to escape. No, he still had a card. 'Where is Levas? Is he running away already? Even though she is strong, he can still beat him.'
Irving was frustrated because Levas hadn't made his appearance this whole time.
On the other hand, Selena's eyes turned bloodshot, glaring at Irving and the three familiars.
The centaur and the dark elf exchanged looks. It appeared they had to deal with the avatar first before they could do anything.
The archer also had the same thought, as he had already pulled his bow, aiming at the avatar's head.
Selena locked her killing intent on Irving, muttering coldly, "You're not the one ambushing me here. It's the other way around. This will be the place where you will die, Irving Ashton."
"You slut. I should have killed you a long time ago." Irving gritted his teeth.
"Killed me a long time ago? You couldn't. After all, killing me would result in you losing your reputation and control over the family. It would still be considered usurping your own brother's position and the royal family will have no choice but to get involved." Selena smiled slyly, as though she had seen through everything.
Irving clenched his fists as numerous blood bats formed all around him. Then he lifted up his hand as all the blood bats fused with each other, forming a giant bat.
"!!!" All of them could feel the power behind this blood bat. Selena's avatar immediately stretched its hand, trying to crush it before he could release it.
Obviously, the three familiars wouldn't allow her. The centaur and the dark elf leaped toward the arm.
"Darkness Purgatory!" She swung her dagger upward as a black light flashed for a split second before a massive burst of ena struck the arm. The black light flared up like that of a fire, breaking the bones inside that arm.
After that, the centaur leaped into the air and concentrated his ena into his blade, cutting the entire arm.
Since Selena could still send another arm, the skeleton fired at the avatar's face. The ena burst, knocking the avatar back.
Selena waved her wand, producing a horizontal wave straight toward Irving.
Irving struck Selena's attack with his blade that was gradually enveloped by blood.
"Tsk." He clicked his tongue as he got pushed back and his hands grew numb. Fortunately, he was still strong enough to withstand it.
And that was when the giant bat fully manifested.
"To think I would be using this technique against you, but with this, you can die!" Irving shouted while waving his hand down.
The giant bat flew toward Selena. She hurriedly recovered the avatar's arm and controlled the avatar to smack the blood bat like killing a mosquito.
To her surprise, the bat flew up, avoiding the avatar.
When the avatar lifted up its head as though it was trying to catch it, the bat looped around and stopped right behind the avatar.
"!!!" Selena's body shook, feeling the danger coming from the blood bat.
It opened its mouth, showing two long fangs that pierced through the avatar's body. Instead of sucking blood, the blood bat was actually sucking ena from her avatar.
"My ena?' Selena furrowed her eyebrows. She also noticed that the three familiars were surrounding her from three sides. With Selena busy dealing with the bat, they should be able to injure her in one way or another.
"There's nothing you can't do against that bat, Selena. This is the end of your life." Irving laughed, starting to get insane.
Selena, on the other hand, calmed down. The ability was surprising, but it wasn't beyond her imagination.
She couldn't help but murmur, 'As expected, without Nathan here, everything won't go beyond our imagination.'
It felt like Nathan's bad luck had changed her world's view, thinking that there was nothing surprising that other people would bring if she were alone.
Selena tapped the ground with the tip of her wand. "If you want it, then get it."
Selena actually used triple 'Concentration' and sent all that energy into the avatar. That surge of ena flowed right into the bat.
The bat suddenly grew bigger and bigger as it sucked more ena.
"!!!" Irving noticed something was off. "What's going on?"
Selena smiled. "I know the bat is sucking my ena, but it's also discharging my ena. On the other hand, it's like a hose. If there's a big influx of ena that it can't handle…"
The bat grew so big that the body couldn't support it anymore and ultimately popped like a balloon.
"Impossible. No one has ever destroyed it before." Irving panicked. He had used that attack on multiple people. But no matter how good they were at controlling ena, they couldn't produce enough ena to destroy the bat.
Unfortunately, Selena had the Multiflux Control.
With Triple 'Concentration,' she basically broke the limit.
In addition, the three familiars noticed the bat couldn't do anything to Selena and halted their steps at the last moment.
After all, the avatar immediately joined his hands together after getting freed from the bat. He slammed both hands to the ground, releasing the excess ena.
The impact created a massive crater as the rocks surfaced before getting blown away by the shock wave produced by all that ena
The centaur and the dark elf cut several rocks that came toward them while the skeleton did his best to avoid them from a distance.
Irving's face turned pale. Selena was much stronger than he originally expected. No, he had yet to see Selena getting worked up yet. No, Selena might not have gone all out yet.
"You monster…" Irving clenched his fists. "What are you doing, Levas? Attack her right now!"
Out of desperation, Irving called for help, even if it meant revealing his ambush.
Unfortunately, there was no reply nor Levas making his appearance. There was only silence.
Selena smiled coldly. "I told you earlier. You're not the one ambushing me here. I am."
Irving's face turned ghastly pale. After all, he finally realized he had screwed up.
